Fee structure is also really nice in the college and also scholarship opportunities.
Arya vidyapeeth college is great in allowing the annual functions, festivals , college week function, exhibition of different kinds, it plays a amazing role to be honest.
Faculty. the teachers here are very friendly and are good at teaching. they also provide notes to help us learn better

Dislikes

Frequently the light goes off in summer seasons which is irritating
The college toilet is very much dirty i have been studying for 3 years but there were no repairs in toilet even it was more worst than before
The parking area is also small if yuu have vehicle then it will be trouble for you.

My Experience

Likes

The thing i like that teacher in our class use projector to teach us in class.
Next thing i like that our college was accredited with Autonomous status, which help us to get every sem result on time.
In our college, the students gets to join various seminars, which college authorities provide us with time to time

Dislikes

The main thing which i disliked about our college is that our college campus is small if you compare with other colleges.
Next thing is that in our college we don't have enough space in college campus to sit during off periods rather than your classroom
The next thing is that there were various construction going on in our college so for now the college environment is healthy enough for a student to perform.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i want to appear for civil service examinations in future, so for me political science subject is helpful for my future career, In our department our faculty trach us in a decent manner, but there are some improvements needed with time.

Wish i could bring back my college days

Likes

Good infrastructure and good learning environment
Short distance from my rent house. Good transportation and communication.
Good class rooms, bench, desk and compounds.

Dislikes

Most of the teachers speak local language.
Communication problem with clerical staffs and teachers.
Teachers do partiality. Some of the teachers do not clear our doubts in their subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers must communicate in english inside the college compound. They must give explanation in english also. So that other state students will also learn. Teachers must have friendly behavior. Even the clerical staff must know english.

Friendly environment with a good teaching faculty.

Scholarly help and studying materials related to the course are provided by the college however the result are mostly based on self studying due to inefficient management by faculties. The college lacks proper workshops and programs to prepare the students for real world circumstances.

Likes

the faculty members are very nice and great
the environment is also very good and clean
very great teaching styles and methods are very great

Dislikes

the campus is a but small so nit much place to move around
the canteen is a but pricey and with limited products
the helping members are a bit too busy for us

All the faculty are very learned and helpful. They make an effort and are very invested in our progress
The infrastructure is very modern with multiple laboratories and conference halls. Construction work is going on for increasing the campus area and buildings
Apart from departmental libraries, the college boasts a central library with a large collection of books, articles and journals

Dislikes

Need for a separate parking area for students
Canteen and cafeteria space should be increased
Seat capacity should be increased in the common room

The requirements for 1st semester students is to choose 7 subjects. Core subject, Minor subject, SEC (skill enhancement course), IDC (inter disciplinary course), AEC (ability enhancement course) and two compulsory VAC (value added courses) of EVS and AIS (ancient Indian studies)

I love the behaviour of the faculty members towards students
Also the teaching style of the professors
I love the college canteen too . The food is pretty good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exam timing is a little early so it can be change and rest of the exam process is fine and yes, it would be good if the paper is made a little easier. On the other hand,we also get materials from our faculty members.

I liked the overall environment of our college
My department (Geography) Faculty members are very good.
The teachers not only help in academics but also guide us for our better well-being.

Dislikes

Construction is going on in the college campus.
Though it has gain the autonomous tag still didn't get any such benefit.
The toilets are very unhygienic and have very bad odour.

Our course is very easy to understand anyone who is new to this branch or doesn't have any idea about geography can easily understand the topics through the guidance of our faculty members. They provide extra classes for better understanding of the students.

I like the infrastructure. They had digital classrooms very good faculty the faculty most of them our PhD holders the library is well equipped there is boys and girls common room we had a separate washroom for our own department
The canteen's food is tasty, there are other options besides college canteen jus outside the gate. Very affordable canteen.
I like the cultural rally competition and wall magazine making.

Dislikes

There is not much place to relax. The campus is not that big.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well designed so that it can help you for M. Sc preparation and CUET PG and GATE B. There is SEC i.e. skill enhancement course that hones on skills of particular. We has nursery and gardening and teaches us so many skills of how and when plant can be harvaested. They take us for field trips to different places. We visited Sikkim and got to know about orchids and how to harvest it amd many more. We even visited BSI SIKKIM and the collection of herbarium was awesome. We had the talk with the director of BSI too. The curriculum can be a bit improved if there were more practicals included that hones the skills more. The exam is not that difficult you ca clear it if you study regularly for 2 hours atleast. The exams occir twice a semester. One is sessional for 30 marks and finals for 80.

Heaven is what I call this place

Likes

I liked the campus as it is very aesthetic looking and fresh environment.
Many cultural events are being held and they are so fun.
Teachers, Seniors and my batchmates everyone is good. Canteen foods are also very tasty.😋

Dislikes

Currently there is no common room for boys as there is construction going on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I started liking Economics when I was in class 11th our teacher used to teach it in a very interesting way which made me choose these course. The current teacher is the same and I don't regret my decision. There are many scopes in doing BA (Economics) like banking sector, economist etc.

I like the way how our teachers interact with us.
I like our college campus which gives us a feel of that we are far away from city life.

The library is small compared to students ratio.
The laboratories should have more equipments for practical subjects.
Boys and girls common room should made more clean.

In the new curriculum system , one student who belongs to science background should have to choose subjects from arts background which helps us to open mind for more career options. The curriculum including study area prepares us for real world application or further academic pursuits.
