Asansol Girls College was established in 1950 in Burdwan, Asansol, West Bengal. The College is affiliated to Kazi Nazrul University, Bardhaman and is a NAAC accredited A level college. Asansol Girls College UG Courses Admission 2024

There are 20 full-time Honors courses offered by Asansol Girls College under the departments of Arts, Commerce and Science. The College also offers three General UG courses viz. BA/ BSc/ B.Com. Selection of eligible candidates into the desired course is done based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

Those applicants who have scored minimum 45% marks in 10+2 or its equivalent examination are eligible for each Honors course. Candidates who are applying to General program have to secure 30% marks in 10+2. Though for History, Economics, Political Science, Philosophy, Sociology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Botany, Zoology, Nutrition, Micro biology, and BCA courses applicants must have secured at least 45% marks in the respective subject.

The interesting chapter of my college life

Admission:

The applied for Chandigarh University.I got confirmed admission from the CU and AGC.I choose Asansol GIRLS college because it is affordable for my parents and it is near to my house..CU fees structure is very expensive. I didn't get any rejection from any other college that I applied too. The admission process of my college is very simple all you need to do to fill the form and provide necessary details of 10th and 12th exam. And submit after a month the list will be released on the official website of my college. After checking your name, you need to pay the require amount for the courses.. after few days they will call you for documents verification and there's no mandatory exams for admission, 12th result is sufficient.My overall experience is good.

Asansol girls college

Admission:

Any student who has completed their 12th with a commerce background is eligible for this course. The application form is easy to apply through online mode, amount would be approximately 500. There is no reservation benefits.

Admission:

There is no entrance exam for taking admission in girls' college but your 12th percentage matter because seats are limited so only high percentage students are required for some courses and process is that you have to fill online application form then after college messages you that you are available or not for this course and fees structure also provided by the college then after you appeared for courses you can take online admission.

Asansol Girls College : A choice to make !!!

Admission:

All the students who have scored 50% in the 12th results are eligible for the Pass Course and those who have scored 80% or above are eligible for the Honors Course. Students can get their admission form from the college directly. The last date of admission is the end of August.

Eligibility for Admission was done on the basis of class 12 results. The admission process was through an online process. One improvement I want to see is to ..pay our semester fee through an only process not standing in line queue for 2 to 3 hours. As everything is becoming digital our college should also make this digital.

A Good and Memorable Journey

Admission:

The application process at my university was a 2 round interview session. The first day was a group discussion round and the second day was an application filling process round. Eligibility criteria were a minimum of 60% in class 12. The application guidance was given by the Professor to check the official website of the College.
