NPGC Lucknow Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

This college is well known for its discipline purpose. NPGC mainly focuses on academics rather than focusing on extracurriculars it focuses on studies. The staff and teachers are very supportive though. They help in academic practicals as well as in competitive exams.

Students can be part of the placement cell from the third semester and are prepared for placements. The college has a dedicated placement cell under the Computer Science Head Of the Department. Students get easily placed in companies like TCL, HCL, Wipro, etc.

From 5th semester or 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placement Approx 50 students out of 1000 students are selected for the placement. My plan is to do masters in mathematics after doing this degree at Lucknow University

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. The companies visited are zomato, TCS, etc. There were not many offers made. The highest package was 10 lakhs and the lowest was 3 lakhs. 60% of students were placed. I would opt for post-graduation in MBA from top colleges such as IIM and for this, I am preparing to apply for CAT

I chose this course because I had an interest in the subject. The professor taught everything in detail. And we also did practical learning and outside learning as well. The faculty was good with 150 students as the ratio

I chose this course because from my school time I used commerce stream and I have a career choice of chartered accountant thats why I chose this course. A major number of students chose this stream. The faculty is really friendly environment is really good and informative everyone helps each other. qualification for faculty is that a person needs to complete their post-graduate degree in relevant subjects, the teaching method is really good teachers give complete focus to each and every student. the term of exams is in between 6 months. The exam is held twice a year the exams are really competitive you have to prepare a good syllabus to pass with a good percentage.

Campus placement is available, few companies visit every year. But the students are not very much motivated to join the companies as they are just undergraduates now. Scores of students are normally good and help in placements and for higher education.

I'm pursuing BCom honours from Npgc and there are semester-wise exams ( 2 sem in 1 year ) Exams are conducted every 6 months and unit tests are conducted twice before every semester exams. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate and sometimes easy.

Mainly from the 6th Semester students become eligible for campus placements in our college. Companies like Google, Axis Bank, and ICICI bank come for Campus placements. And an annual package offered was 1000000 LPA. More than 75% of students get placements from our college. I will go to the banking sector.

Companies like Wipro HCL TCS etc. come to college to recruit students from the last semester. The placement cell of our college is very good and very supportive. About half of the students of my batch got jobs and our seniors too but the job profile varies according to your own potential.
