NPGC Lucknow Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As I am doing masters from geography now earlier when I was in UG there were so many problems regarding my personal life but the teachers help me a lot to overcome from that which is why I chose for geography because I don't feel that department is some thing different but my second home also geography has very bright future career wise

Campus placement is there in the college in the year which I got passed out there was a campus placement and the student got annual package of 4 lakh if you don't get campus placement there is various opportunities like you can do MBA and get settle if not you can also prepare for various government examination like bank examination etc in which the knowledge you gain from the course is very much applicable and helpful

The commerce department seemed promising as the college is mainly famous for its commerce department and commerce course. The curriculum prepare us well for real world applications. The improvement I would suggest is to give the students chance to provide other students lectures in class about small small topic each( It will improve their skills). The timings of exam was good and the Difficulty of exam is medium high

Students are eligible for campus placements after completing 5 semesters. The placement opportunities are good in the college. There is a student oriented placement cell which is run by a team of 17 students. The average package is of 8 to 10 lacs. My plan after getting my degree is to apply for MBA

3rd year students are eligible for the placements. As I'm a fresher I don't know the companies and related scenarios well but the average package is 4.5 LPA and 40-50% students get placed every year. Even after graduating from this college , if you didn't got placed anywhere you can come here as an alumini and take part in the placements opportunities

Placements are being offered to the students of National post graduate college. There are companies such as Wipro Pvt. Ltd. , TCS ,etc which offer a range of placements to the students of an average package worth more than 400000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placements is always above 90+ percent.

I chose this course because I want to be a bank manager. This is not only my decision this is also my parent's decision. I have to suggest to the teachers that they give revision after the semester is completed. Exam times are good there are no suggestions but the exams are difficult so make the paper also think about the students who don't have more knowledge.

There is a placement coordinator in my college which also has a placement cell which is very active and provide many opportunities they also train the students for the interview and the job . They also provide new companies and goood jobs

The curriculum comes under the new education policy by the government of India and is very well updated. I am happy with the curriculum. But the college doesn't gives marks in the exams even after writing enough. The exams are held semester-wise.

The curriculum is totally theoretical based. I don't think it prepares us for the real world but the terms are timely conducted without any delay. It is an autonomous college so they schedule theur own exams and the exams are medium in difficulty level.
