Students can get benefits of svmcm, nsp, inspire, and sitaram jindal scholarships.
I like faculty because the teachers are very good and very helpful.
Campus life is just great there is a very much unity amount all the people and the colleges actually great and its very much united it's very strongly united which is the best thing ever.

Dislikes

There was not any dislike thing , but one thing i am not satisfied is about the canteen , the canteen food was not quite good
This college is in road side, so vechicles violence is there
The toilets are very dirty and lack of sanitary is observed

Our University

Likes

I like the quality of students, thet make here.
I like the faculty. They are really full of knowledge.
I like the environment of study here and the pressure for exam that make study hard.

Dislikes

I don't like the timing of semester. We don't get much time.
I don't like the fees structure and field fees.
I don't like giving less marks compare to what I wrote.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think there is many scopes after B. Sc that's why I have chosen this course. In our department there 8:38. Qualification of faculty is Phd. Their teaching method is really modern and amazing. The exams were a bit tough and no., given by the university were not really so satisfactory compare to the satisfaction I got after giving exams.

There are 4 semesters and it's actually very difficult to pass . faculty members are good as comparison to other departments .They all had their PhD degree .They provide different courses .There is alot of books in the library of our department

The senious welcomed us with their open hands and they were very helpful.
The professors are very cooperative. They listen to our problems very attentively.
Like other colleges,our college is not very much strict.

Dislikes

Sometimes the classmates can be a little rude.
The enviroment of our college is not very refreshing
We cannot talk to everyone in our college

I chose this course because I love literature and I adore Rabindranath Tagore and Shakespeare. There are above 100 students in our class and our department is also called the most glamorous department of our college.

Life at asutosh college

Likes

Canteen of asutosh college is awesome. It offers extremely good food for very affordable price
Proffesors are really helpful and kind .
Students Union also helps a lot at times of difficulty

Asutosh college is one of the top government college in west bengal for studying geology. There is one professor per 8 students which is quiet grreat. Professors are excellent and very helpful . Well calcutta university itself sets tough paper and has a stict review checking process

Vast amount of couses available here . You have many choices.
Transportation to this institution is good.

This institution is highly politically influenced.
Everyone here is busy with their own lives
Library facility can be much better and .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was passionate about this course from the beginning. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:5. Exams take place every 6 months. But CU based exams are quite tough. Some faculty vacancy needs to be filled.

Overall experience is too much good as aspect of studies..

Likes

Teaching method and friendly and helping nature of professors.
Classmates are very much helping in nature
College environment is very calm and quiet

Dislikes

Too much event held in our college which seems distracting.
Not so beautiful,it seems like old building.
Political environment make it uncomfortable studios students

I choose this course as I found it interesting, I found a friendly environment with my classmates and professors, teaching method of our professors is excellent they gave their best to teach and taught us very friendly,my college come under Calcutta University. Here exams are difficult to pass because time is very sufficient according to the syllabus.

Most affordable and best college

Likes

College library. It is very peaceful .
College cafeteria and a full hall to eat and study
The faculty. They treat you like their own family.

The campus. It has no campus as such only a building

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because geology is something which has very less competition, government jobs and they are high paying. Our batch has equal ratio:19 girls and 19 boys = 38 in total. Our faculty is the best faculty for specially geology. It's far better than many well known universities. All of them are high qualified and have abundant field and practical knowledge.

Likes

Proffessors were good and in geology there is field visit which was a very feel good experience for us with our proffessors
The sports event in our college is so beautiful .
Facilities of transport and connectivity to reach is too good

Dislikes

Not such things to dislike , but Canteen is on the top floor unlike other college
This point is subjective , but for me I don't like too much gatherings but in my college there it's the most number of students , the most populated college in Kolkata
Auditorium has No AC , but in few cases the organise events in a different place

I choose geology because it has more scope than other Graduation course There were 38 students in total and 5 proffessors Some of the proffessors were PhD in applied geology , one of them were PhD in sedimentology The exam held two times in a year and it was a little bid difficult

Pros and Cons of Asutosh College

Likes

Vast collection of books in the library is quite impressive.
Social life in this college is very much fun.
Some of the professors and faculty members are very helpful.

Dislikes

There is too much of politics which hinders classes.
Rallies from college are very frequent which is pollutes the study environment.
Washrooms are very poorly maintained. Sanitary pads dispenseries are not there

Asutosh college is one of the most reputed college under University of Calcutta to offer psychology courses.Currently, the department consists of 4 Permanent professors and two assistant professors.The student-to-teacher ratio is 80:6.Most of the professors are highly qualified.CU conducts semester exams every 6 months.Their scoring is quite stingy.
