Raiganj Surendranath Mahavidyalaya (RSM Raiganj) is a coeducational general degree college. The college offers 3-year Hons. and General degree courses in Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in various specializations. The college has also recently included distance education options for Post-Graduation under Rabindra Bharati University.

For admission into BA. course, the candidate must have passed 10+2 examinations under a recognized board of education with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent.
For admission into B.Sc courses, the candidate must have passed 10+2 examinations under a recognized board of education with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent.

RSM Raiganj was established in 1986 and is affiliated to the University of Gour Banga. The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college was also awarded B+ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2019.

It's one of the top polytechnic in Tamilnadu lots of companies will come for campus interview and many people got good placement in top companies with good package.
