Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj College of Engineering was established in 2011 and running under the society Ahmednagar Jilha Maratha Vidya Prasark Samaj. It is affiliated to University of Pune and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, Govt. of Maharashtra, recognized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The institute has an Anti ragging committee and Ragging is strictly prohibited inside and outside the premise of institute.

The institute has all necessary facilities like library, sports, medical facility, chemistry laboratory, physics laboratory, computer laboratory, well equipped classroom, outdoor-indoor games, auditorium etc. The faculty is well educated and experienced in their subjects. Admission process is simple firstly you have to give the exam of CET and accordingly you will get marks on that basis you are eligible to take admission according to the field. For admission process there is only one office so a long line is always there.

If you belong to any backward class, you are provided with a scholarship every year. No Need any improvement in admission process is done very well

Admission:

In this college the teaching staff is very good and financially fees are very low comparing to other colleges. Many extracurricular activities are taken in college campus. There sports faculty was also good, as I was a chess player I used to play chess for the college and also college supported me for playing chess. Here all the faculty members personally take care of yours. As I was in computer science engineering branch every teacher teaches very well. Computer lab practice are taken in every week where if there is any problem teachers try to solve it out in the practical lab sessions. College campus is also very well.. There are many trees in the campus of the college. The admission process starts in start of the June where you can contact directly to the college or also you can visit the website of the college where everything is mentioned with details. The college library is also very good. There are a lot of books in there. You can visit there any time and good for bookworms.
