My BMLT Journey at GNIPST

Likes

The BMLT syllabus is aligned with industry standards and clinical lab practices.
Faculty are experienced, with many holding M.Sc./PhD degrees in medical and paramedical fields.
The college has a decent campus-neither too crowded nor too isolated.

Dislikes

While regular cleaning is scheduled, deep cleaning is often delayed.
Wi-Fi is inconsistent in some blocks or upper floors.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities for BMLT students at GNIPST are arranged by the College. Common Internship Places NRS medical college & hospital, Kolkata Medical College and Hospital etc. Final year student also undertaken project work , such as antibiotic sensitivity tests or biochemical analysis.

Likes

One of the prime aspect to be appreciated is our Labs. BMLT students find good opportunities to learn a lot from the laboratories.
Our campus consists of full of greenary areas making it suitable for spending off time and huge fields are present for the students to participate in various sports and compition.
Each student is assigned with a mentor during 4 years and the highly qualified teachers guide the students very well and shapes them well for future placement opportunities.

Internships Opportunities:

Placement cell of GNIPST provide internship to BMLT students. They offer 1 month of intership at the end of 4th semester and a 6 months of intership at the end of 8th semester. This semester are provided in government as well as private sector helping the students to get familiar to both the sector amd get various job opportunities. Various government hospital are tied up with college in west bengal providing opportunities to each students for internships.

The campus amenity is learning facilities and extra curricular activity are appreciated and the college in a labs needed improvement. Engagement of in campus life is very helpful to intract with others even with teachers. There is good quality of soc
The faculties are expertise and they have enough knowledge that teaching methods are also good even the mentorship provided by the colleges also good. The college provides good placement service and they support for our career advancement
College campus has good amenities and learning facilities including library computer lab and others

Dislikes

Behaviour of the staff members, lab machines, library card system
Quality of mess and canteen, cleanliness of college washrooms

Dr Lal pathlab, Abbott, Dr Reddy's, Johnson's offers internship with stipend College provides as different kind of project and we need to provide the outcomes to the faculties and they clarify all the task performed by us and it also contents marpoints that is important for our year certificate

Review of my college details

Likes

All faculty are very helpful in our college. Our college is well decorated. Classrooms are too good. Every classroom have projectors. The library facility is also so good. There have good placements in different companies.
They also provide 100% placements in all students. Scholarship facility are available for higher degree students.

Dislikes

I think that laboratory facility are needed to improve, because some chemicals are not found in the lab for the purpose of practical experiment.

There are different internship programs are available in our college. Firstly, choose the topic in our syllabus, then the subject teacher guided these topic and then the principal selected the students. After that they send the students name and topic in different institute. The selected students also get the stipened for internships.

My Journey in GNIPST

Likes

I like that every student is under a mentor for guidance.
I like the work culture of our university.
I like the fact that teachers are very supportive towards there mentee.

Dislikes

I dislike the most is the hygiene is not priority in our college
College charges huge fines for late fees and low attendance
Teachers are not cooperative when it comes to low attendance

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 5th semester if your course is for 3 years otherwise 7th semester if your course is for 4 years. Average package is 3LPA 25% of students get placement and the rest persuade higher studies.

College campus is very beautiful.like them
College provide verious sports competition.
College have cricket ground, football ground,batminton ground, volleyball ground.

Dislikes

My college fees structure very costly thie dislike them.
College very slow solve any problem them dislike them.
College teaching well but lose them them dislike them

Likes

Discipline well maintained, collage campus well maintained
Sport conducted and library well maintained with computer lab
Every student must come in college uniform

Dislikes

Lecture of faculty mostly in Bengali and all faculty speak Bengali
In the campus boys hostel not available black bord old type
Ac not available in the lab all facilities not available

Placement Experience:

Placement is available based on marks in the total year in the good company, select from interviews. After completing the course internship then placement. Higher average package up to 150000 to 300000. 90% of students get placement.

Great GNIPST!

Likes

The faculties are very good and helpful and they help each one of us in every situation.
The infrastructure of the college is pretty well.

Dislikes

The type of learning like Flip learning I personally don't prefer much.

Internships Opportunities:

Companies like Sun Pharma, GSK, Johnson and Johnson, and Mankind often visit our college for placements. Companies generally give recruitment in QC /QA department. A salary of around 1.2 LPA is common and the highest package goes to around 4.8 LPA.

The ambience of the college is very good and eye catching.
The type of teaching is very good and eye catching.
I personally like the infrastructure of the college.

Dislikes

The course fee is slightly expensive for middle class.

Internships Opportunities:

Companies like Wipro, GSK, sun pharma, Cipla, Mankind, and Johnson and Johnson, offer jobs to students. The salary is also very good. You can also do a Ma pharm to have a higher salary than a b pharm graduate.

From 7 to Semester students are eligible for placements. Various reputed companies visited and around 200+ job offers were made to candidates. Cipla, Caplet, Nestle, Cognizant, Alembic, Fresenius Kabi, Pulsus, and Wipro visited our college to give placement on campus. I joined Cognizant after getting my degree
