There are a huge number of clubs in the campus such as for marketing, commerce, economics, business, astronomy etc. and there a huge number of fests and business fests and activities for the students to participate in and go to other colleges for fests and events. There are multiple musical events as well.

Typically, 1-2 events are held every month, and various books are accessibles in the library and can be accessed by anyone with their icard. The classroom consists of a projector and 4 air conditioner with 6 fans and a white board and a black board. The college sport is very competitive, recently I have won a silver medal in sports but with very high and comprehensive training.

A cafeterias as good as a foodcourt is there. Even a bakery is there as Bengali are fond of sweets and I am glad that it has been taken care of. In a world where everyone takes pride in fitness, we have a wellness centre and our sports ground which may not be the biggest field of play but is lush green. We don't have many events as societies are dependent on the sponsorships on their own but our annual fest XAVOTSAV is fully funded by our college.

For sports there's one ground and it is used widely for playing football as it's the major sport of SXC. For indoor a small room with few sports facilities and majorly isba social place as that is where team bonding and all happens. Library is big and is air-conditioned as it was transformed recently on students request. Unlike many colleges where it's hip-hop culture, here it's study culture and therefore just one annial fest in XAVOTSAV is all we have.

XAVOTSAV is our annual fest and then we have seminars and business meetings. Also, once in every year we are taken for an industrial tour too. So campus life therefore is quite busy and happening both. Infrastructure of the college is like an old British monument as most of those architecture is still preserved and is visible too.

Every building of the campus tells a different story of its own. It's a big and beautiful campus with 6 buildings and one auditorium and library each. We have few events as seminars and guest lectures but main is our cultural fest Xavotsav.

Facilities at our college are quite good as it's an old college or one or the oldest but facilities now are upgraded and we have best auditorium, library and labs. Even canteens are good and our canteen Etcetra serves all the junk food we love.

Our college has one long block and sections are divided. There's one canteena nd cafeteria and bakery as well. Lovely football ground right in the front and college has two entry and exit gates. Xavotsav is our annual fest and is celebrated with participants from over 40 odd colleges.

St. Xaviers college boasts a large number of clubs covering various extra curriculurs. Social events involve flagship event of every club and the annual cultural fest - Xavotsav which includes a wide range of events - from dance and music to literary competitions and sports events.

There are numerous societies to indulge in and find your right fit but at the same time the initial few days become overwhelming due to simultaneous registrations of every society causing slip ups in some opportunities. Moreover numerous events conducted both within the campus and invited to by regional institutions broaden one’s scope. Mordern trends in Microbiology is the esteemed event of this department which encompasses both academic and cultural elementsto suit everyons needs. Most of the classes have ACs, so summers are not very harsh. The main canteen is pretty good with both veg and non-veg options. There are other smaller canteens present at the terrace and near the library. There is free Wi-Fi available over campus and the library is the perfect place to prep for any exam. I practically live in there during exam  weeks.
