Uluberia College was founded in the year 1948 in Howrah, West Bengal. The college is affiliated with University of Kolkata.

The college offers BA, BSc, B.Com (Hons and General) courses of 3-year duration each along with B.Ed. program of 2-years duration. Apart from regular courses Uluberia College also offers M.A and M.Sc. programs in various streams on distance mode which are affiliated from Vidyasagar University and Netaji Subhash Open University respectively.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board are eligible to join BA, BSc, B.Com (General) course.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in best four subjects and minimum 45% marks in honors subject and minimum 55% marks in aggregate are considered eligible to join BA and B.Com (Hons) course.
The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to BSc (Hons) course is candidates must have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in best four subjects and honors subjects.
Those who have passed Graduation Degree in any discipline are eligible to join B.Ed. course.
Admission to each UG program including B.Ed. is given on merit in qualifying exam.

Uluberia College offers BA (Hons) courses with six specializations and BA (General) course with eight specializations, B.Sc. (Hons) with five disciplines and B.Sc. in four specializations. (General program& Hons) of three-years duration each, including B.Com. (General and Hons) course of three-years duration. The college also runs B.Ed. program of two-years duration in its curriculum.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in any best four subjects except Environmental Science or minimum 45% marks in all subject or 55% marks in the relevant subject applied for admission are considered eligible to join BA, and B.Com (Hons) courses. Apply for UG Courses

The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to BSc (Hons) program is candidates must have completed 10+2 with not less than 50% marks in best four subjects excluding Environmental Science or minimum 50% marks in honors subjects or at least 60% marks in aggregate.

For admission to BA, BSc, B.Com (General) course the minimum eligibility requirement is candidates must have passed 10+2 in relevant subject from a recognized Board. Those who have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible to join B.Ed. course.

Admission to each UG-level course is given on the basis of previous year merit. The merit list for admission to the program is produced by the college and shortlisted candidates are supposed to complete the admission formalities.

Uluberia College, Howrah Application Process 2024

Candidates have to apply in online mode for admission to BA, BSc, B.Com. courses. The application form is made available on the website of the college. Payment of the fee shall be done in both online and offline modes. Candidates have to apply separately for B.Ed. course.

How to Apply

Pay the application fee
Submit the application form on or before the stipulated date

Application Fee

Online: Pay the application fee of INR 80 through Net Banking, Credit or Debit card at any axis branch.

Offline: Make the payment through cash as well at the nearest Axis bank branch

Candidates shall pay INR 300 if you choose for Geography or Computer Science as a combination subject or INR 100 (for prospectus) and INR. 100 (for General course)

Admission:

I didn't apply to other colleges as this college is very close to my house and infrastructures are also good . Admission process - after Higher secondary exams you have to apply through online portal. Seats are limited , college will published list of selected candidates. Then you have to make payment for admission.

Uluberia college, an endless journey.

Admission:

Eligibility for admission is to get a minimum of 70% in English subjects and 55% in other subjects. The application form is available online and offline. The candidate must bring adhaar card for faster processing. Our college has a hostel facility if anyone wants to live in college premises they can, only 50 rupees per night. The college has its own food canteen. Foods are available at a very cheap cost. Free vaccines are available on a fixed date of a month. Free sanitizers and masks are also given by the college authorities. Totally admission is very simple and fast.

No. There is no such things. Admisson done through your last passed exam results. Like I admitted with my 12 standard result. Written test happens when you got some professional course like computer application studies.
