Ace College : A student’s Perspective

Likes

My experience at my college has been very positive overall.One of the things I appreciated most was the supportive environment created by the faculties.They were knowledgeable,approachable,and guided as well not only in academics but also in career.
The infrastructure was good with well equipped labs, a spacious library ,decent classrooms, and other amenities like sports facilities and common areas for students to relax and collaborate.
The placement cell was active suppportive.They organised mock interviews, training sessions and bought good companies to the campus

Dislikes

Overall I liked everything about my college and have no major dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, covering key concepts and practical skills.It prepares well for jobs and also higher studies.Exams are fair and moderately difficult.Minor updates to new tech is needed.

Diving into my college reality

Likes

The cleanness of the college surroundings
Teaching and non teaching staffs they act as friends than being teachers.

Dislikes

Washroom facility is not good for women. Doors are slightly destroyed

Placement Experience:

From S5 onwards students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited for placement in aeronautical department are Airbus , Garuda aerospace , aero connections,fuselage technology , jet aerospace , collins aerospace, mahindra, capejimine, lockheed martin .my plan after achieving degree is to study masters in abroad.

We will be eligible for campus placement from third year but we will start to receive the placement training program from the secong year. for the final years their will be 3 to 4 campus placements will their in every months we got a strong placement cell the company from infosys,averixis,etc will be coming for placement recruitment their is both technical and non technical job offers will be their

Getting what you Expected

Likes

The faculty & teaching meathod & disciplined way
Infrastructure is good and lab facilities
Mentorship quality is too good & the interaction between students

Dislikes

The colour of the uniform white due to which the stains wouldn't go
The range issue in the college is a main issue faced by the students
The quality of cloth is low this it's hard to iron the clothes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The circulam that ktu provided is upto the syllabus and it's easy for students and it is followed by our college, it suits the real world applications or for future academic pursuits, right now there is no such area to be improved in the teaching method or from the circulam,exams level are Medium but as the faculty teaches the important topics it would be much more easier to write the exam

Uniform - White coloured uniform difficult to wear
College Timing - Starts at 8:40 am and ends at 4:10 pm
More space and freedom needed for students

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from seventh semester.Both private and government opportunities available for civil engineering stream.I plan to go for Public Service Commision Training.

College have a good rating for the campus placement.Many of the students are placed from the college. From 5th semester onwards, we are eligible for the placement. The placement companies are: Infosys,Ford,TVS,TATA Consultancy Services (TCS),AIRBUS,Allains, cognizant, Sutherland,Spiders, Technologies,ELEATION,Tech Mahindra,Sundram fasteners limited,HCL,prochant,aero connections,speridian technologies,SFS,Teachnook,turbolab

Exploring college amenities and internships.

Likes

We are getting opportunities to work on real world projects with the guidanxce of experts both fromm within and outside the campus.
The faculties are deeply invested in our success and they provide great membership along the way.
AI and ML program offers everything a future tech leader could want expert faculty ,hands-on labs and an environment that encourages innovation.

Dislikes

College uniform does not lasts as it is not of the best quality.
As a college student we need have online resources to refer and study but there is'nt enough range to search in the online platform

Placement Experience:

Placements offered in my college is moderate as they are limited but my college offers career guidance.Im focusing on off campus jobs,internships and higher studies in aboard to boost my capability and skills.

THE BREIF INSIGHT TO ACE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

The faculties are approachable and friendly,ensuring that the student gets the personalized attention that they need
The state-of-the-art labs and resources provided here have given me the opportunity to work with cutting edge tools and software that are used in the industry today.
The college is very environment friendly and provides trash bins and every possible location on the campus and also provides club activities and program to improve the overall college life of the student.

Dislikes

One of the very few cons of the college is that the range or signal for cellular networks inside the campus wall is a little bit bad comparatively
The uniform which is provided by college has a very soft and comfortable cloth but at the same it makes it more prone to getting dirty

Placement Experience:

The college is proviiding great placement and internship oppurtunities provided the students are qualified for it.The packages vary from 50k to 15k monthly depending on the qualifications of the students and the company recruiting.

Likes

The college infrastructure is good which gives the students a good and appealing environment for studying.
The faculty of the college is very supportive for studies and other activities .
Provides extra curricular activities like NSS, IEDC,Sports ,inter college events etc.

Dislikes

No internet connectivity inside the college campus/ no free wifi, but we have accesibility to internet in library so that we can make use of it.

Placement Experience:

From the college the students become eligible for the placement 6 th semester onwards such as the trainings . The companies will approach on 7th semester. Different types of companies offer different kinds of package to the students . Companies like Allianz , Cognizant ,TCS , TVS ,UST , Quest Global , Capgemini etc. On an average of 60% of the students get placements from the college. My plans after getting the degree is to join the defence forces by the TGC entry.

My experiance in ACE College

Likes

Good infrastructure in classrooms, laboratary, auditorium
Good teaching staffs for both teaching as well as for personal counselling
Other than academics good involvement in sports and other extracurricular activities

Dislikes

Since the uniform is white, it is difficult to maintain
Semester break is too short , long internship is not possible
more classes are required for communication improovement courses

Placement Experience:

students are eligible to apply for placements from seventh semester. both technical and non technical companies appeared students with backlogs can also eligible to apply for the placement process. I would like to work in the civil industry
