THE CRUCIAL POINT

Likes

The college professors are so friendly. They are so helpful in our studies.
Our college seniors are also very friendly.
Our college has put a lot into extracurricular activities as compared to other medical Colleges

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is not so good enough.
The roads to the college and hostel are not well built
When a heavy rainfall occurs the roads and hostels gets flooded

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is so vast enough. Year by year the course curriculum is getting hectic. This makes the students more confusing in their curriculum. I personally think that the new curriculum the university has released is not helping the students as I have discussed with my friends

Likes

The atmosphere and the faculties are very food here
The teachers are very friendly and will help us throughout the year
The ground is very big and the collage is in the city so good

Dislikes

The collage campus is very bad and not good
Mainly the infrastructure is old and is not renewing
There is no updates in infrastructure inside the classroom

The course i have taken is very important to the society as we always need doctors. There are many experiences and aspects in my life which have led me to choose fhis career. This course has prepared for the life that is to come

Travancore Medicity Review

Travancore Medicity has a good hospital infrastructure and college infrastructure too with 16years of experience in medical field
It has an average hostel facilities but the girls hostel facilities are more and provide excellent care to the girls hostel
The patient saturation and super speciality is an excellent highlight to the students and moreover the experience in treatment and facilities

Dislikes

The more facilities need to be done like well air conditioner in college premises
Hostel facilities of boys need to be increased and permission of two and four wheeler to be permitted
Moreover everything should be maintained better

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is CBME It is a hectic curriculum but to be a doctor we need a hectic work and experience. The curriculum provides best teachers and clinical exposures all over. Exams are conducted periodically and sessionly .

They are very strict to conduct the exam but they are punctual in conducting the exam
The way of valuing the paper is accurate and the strictly follow all creteria
There is no malpractice among students and teachers every thing is seen by university in live mannar

My course is one of the most difficult and most important courses in public. As per my opinion, my teachers are the best and their way of teaching is excellent. They not only teach us the curriculum but discipline in all aspect

Faculty is very supportive. As a north indian student, i face difficulty with language but faculty keeps that in mind and teaches according to it.
Academics is unquestionably to the point.
The seniors are really helpful here. They help with academics a lot.

Dislikes

The communication problem between me and people who don't understand english.
I am not as involved in social events as i want to be because of language problems.
One can feel a little bit cornered if he/she is not from the same culture.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose mbbs because i want to serve this mankind by helping the unfit. The faculty:student ratio is 1:19. Faculty has done PG in their respective subjects and they provide pretty helpful notes that are sufficient for university exams. Passing exams is not difficult if you are well prepared of it. Nothing comes out of syllabus

The life of a medical student

Likes

Anatomy dissection hall and its atmosphere created by friends
Different programs competition conducted by unions
Teaching faculty gives their maximum in their effort

Dislikes

Class rooms are very hot during summer season
Record writing and getting it signed from teachers
The scooter shed is very leaky during rainy season

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was chosen as my grandmother wanted me to treat her during her last time. In one department there are at least 7 faculty so 7:150. The faculty should be a doctor or could take a bEd in a particular subject. In the first year exam was conducted in all weeks and it was moderate not hard nor easy.

The admission to this college is based on the NEET entrance exam result. Students need to score more than 50% in 10+2 examination. Based on this merit list is generated and then through counselling student get the admission.

This is one of the best medical college. Admissions are done through the medium of NEET exam which is conducted every year at the national level. Based on the merit list of this exam counselling is done.

My MBBS Experience in TMC

Admission:

I got my admission to TMC through my marks in NEET examination. After that, I applied to the university by filling the online form, and then I got inducted in the merit list. After that, I visited the campus and signed with all the formalities.
