The library is pretty good, big, beautiful and i like it.
The fee structure is pretty decent compared to other colleges and you get a lot of scholarships and financial assistance in our college they even provide cash prize awards for 1st 400 students every year.
The placements are good and internship also provided the average package is 6 lacks and in this 2024 year the placement percentage is 98% it is very good compared to other colleges good work culture is there

Dislikes

the restaurant system, unlike the mess system here they have restaurant system which i absolutely hate
Four semesters a year, which is very heavy and burden to the students
and dinner is closed at 8pm.it is difficult to survive

College with Worst Management and Referral-Driven Admissions

The campus is expansive and boasts a well-designed infrastructure. It includes a hospital, multiple canteens, well-maintained hostels, parking facilities, and a clean, environmentally friendly atmosphere, providing a comfortable and convenient space.
Each semester, students have the flexibility to select their courses and faculty based on their preferences. Friends can also coordinate and enroll in the same courses, allowing them to study together and share the learning experience.
Events are held every three months, providing a boost to students' morale and enhancing the overall campus atmosphere.

Dislikes

The fees are very high, with additional charges for events and textbooks. Students cannot generate hall tickets or take exams unless all outstanding fees are cleared.
If a student misses an important event, their college portal will be blocked. The college effectively threatens students by blocking access to their portal, which impacts attendance records, exam participation, and overall access to college resource
The college withholds certificates until students follow all rules and won't issue provisional certificates until students receive job offer letters. Ironically, the college requires offer letter proof to maintain its 100% placement record.

Placement Experience:

The placement support is very low in our college. They only support the topper students in placement department and other average students are like dumb for them. They get extra fee for placement support sessions. At the end, without offer letter, they won't provide even a single certificate.

Likes

College campus ambience, the canteen and transportation services
Teaching and the course time line which makes us have more time afterwards
The clubs it has like GDG and other coding clubs

Dislikes

The way of teaching the conceptual map has less knowledge
The questions for semester are always out of topics
The correction and mark split up is so bad

Truth about social and me

Likes

Ambiance of the college is superb it's full of natural and trees surrounded. We can imagine like how colleges are shown in movies
They will provide internship with stipend.
They will provide opportunities for higher studies in foreign.

Dislikes

Facilities behave based on their mood. They won't be friendly
Placement package is quite less while comparing with our college fee

*if you had talent you can get placement package easy for anycost *Hero Honda,HTC,HCL,VIPRO ETC *24LAKHS per annum * Around 45% of students getting placements *I want to study aboard after this degree and study

Life at Saveetha School of Engineering

Likes

Mainly the campus ambience is awesome and soo many symposiums are conducted regularly.
Students from other states are also studying here.
Placement training is good and we can complete all the courses within 3 years. Final year will be internship.

Dislikes

Faculties behave according to their mood and internal marks are also alloted in the same way.
We should have soo much of tolerance level here to deal with faculties.
Placements are quite okay but we can't expect much with good package

Placement Experience:

After completion of all the subjects without any withheld students are eligible for placement. Wipro, cognizant, Amazon , Flipkart, etc.. companies are recruiting students from saveetha school of engineering. But the package is quite low around 12LPA. Almost 90% students will get placed in companies. I had a plan to do higher studies after completion of degree.

Infrastructure and fees structure too fast completion of syllabus
Fees structure and placements and intership opportunities
New innovative ideas over the syllabus and faculty

Dislikes

Attendance tension and time of completion is rather too short
Balancing multiple assignments and not having more time for understanding
Engaged assignments no time for understanding what is happening in the subject

Placement Experience:

We can opt for masters after the degree or the college provides enough placements which u can apply and test your luck in the interviews many companies like TCS Accenture and other good companies are here for giving good opportunities

Internal story of Saveetha

Likes

I liked here is to select the Course faculties according to our wish.
Every week there will be symposiums and webinars.
Infrastructure is very nice and advanced one which is very nice to see and also colorful

Dislikes

Course duration is very less and difficult to learn
I think attendance duration is very less
No one consider you Medica leaves and other reasons

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester placements will be started and almost 100 companies will visit the campus mostly wre Mncs and average package is 5-6lpa and hishest is 30 lpa .70 per of students will be placed.My plan is to be placed inn good mnc company

the exam system .which is conducted every month one or two semester exams
girls are not allowed to go out of hostsel after 8pm
the faculty are very friendly and interact with student

Dislikes

timings are little bit uncomfortable.at 11am it is lunch break
and dinner is closed at 8pm.it is difficult to survive

the frequceny of exam levels is 3 hrs.i don't think that improvements in the course and teaching methods.it was very good about academic levels.it was nice conducting seminars in calass and group decciussions

freedom, you can literally go anywhere you want and can do anything you want after college but you have to be inside hostel before hostel timings
The community, they make me feel like i'm studying in my home state itself, there is no discrimination and i love that..
The freedom to chose any course of our own wish to study and the timings and the faculties

Dislikes

classmates are not permanent, they change all the time
the infrastructure of the hostel and the facilites of the hostel

Placement Experience:

The Placements are pretty average according to me, I don't know about others, they might find it overwhelming but I don't see that. If you complete the full 190 credits then you are eligible for the campus placements. companies like Oracle, Infosys, TCS, Zoho, Hcl Tech, Tech Mahindra, etc. The offers are pretty mediocre like 8lpa for some guys and even 10lpa for top guys and somewhere around 3-4 lpa for some pretty below-average guys.

My college provides good environment and has best facilities to improve skills
Nice Library with all kind of books and well designed
Student management system is good and classified

Dislikes

Too much crowded and not much. .
Sometimes management is not up to the mark
Some faculty may show partiality for their language ppl

After completing their 30 core subjects and 8 electives along with 2 national coference and 1 international conference , students are eligible for campus placements I am planning to move abroad for Masters
