Likes

There is a huge library which is maintained neat and clean and consists of many.
The university is very good with friendly and excellent faculty with great knowledge and skills.
We use it wisely, then we can quickly get opportunities.

Dislikes

Getting permission for the events was a bit difficult
That we computer science students did not have any farewell it was devasting
The hostels sometimes do not give permission to go out even though your parents have agreed by telling some absurd rules

Gitam College Overall Review

Robotics Lab, IOT lab, AR/VR lab, Drone Lab, VLSI Lab
Murthi LAB where we can enrol for that and we can start our research which of free

Dislikes

Student Environment . Here students are lazy. where most of the students will not show interest in projects because most of students do not hav∈skills
Easy to get pass even if we study 2 days before the exam we can get 9 cgp easly
Most of the teacher are not good they do not show interest in teaching even they will skip the chapter .

Right from 7th semester,the students are eligible for placements and there will be very less companies to get double digit packages, only 1 or 2 companies will be come for this college . Most of the compaies will come like 3 to 6 lpa.

Some teachers will be freely inttrect with you and solve your problem
They are giving support for sports developing according to the place
There won't so many events but if want conduct they will do they best according to budge

Dislikes

We can't celebrate birthday party in hostel if We want celebrate we want rent room for celebration for room and We book the date
I don't like this campus environment because there no outing without parents permissions
They won't consider complaint against foods in the college

There placement are available but because of Covid we got less placements to our campus.in this college microsoft placement also available.in avarage package will be 10 lakhs, there Will be atleast 70./. Students will place

Work hard and don't blame college

The university hosts 33 student clubs, providing diverse extracurricular opportunities.
The student-faculty ratio is approximately 17:1, facilitating personalized attention. Faculty members are approachable and supportive.
The campus boasts modern facilities, contributing to a conducive learning environment.

Dislikes

The campus is situated approximately 2 hours from Bangalore city center, which some students find less engaging due to limited surrounding activities.
And campus is too far so we can't go to city when ever we need
And there is no complaint about hostle sometimes food might not be good

Placements are good in gitam banglore campus before revcision there was good placements now it had became less not only this all the colleges don't have good placements we are hoping by end of our graduation we will get placed

Mostly I liked the campus it's not big but it's okayish.
Secondly I like the lab equipments as it's not lagging.
Thirdly I like some faculty teachers....

Dislikes

Students are not engaging in study related things.
Campus placement is not that great. It doesn't fullfill ROI
Faculty teachers are not that educated themselves.

Placement Experience:

They give college placements but it's not that great actually but you can try harder after that and can opt for great jobs with decent income. 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited are Wipro, Infotech, Infosys, TATA.

Honest feeling about my experience

Likes

I liked our time table as it varying day to day in week
I like the environment around the campus as it is situated outside the city
I like the library system , since we can access any book to read

Dislikes

I don't like some faculties, since they don't teach much effectively
Attendance system is one of the things which should be maintained 75 or above .
Transportation is not much effective from our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very interested in computer which bought me to this course . The best thing about the course is that I fall in love with coding . Yes , we are getting prepared with real world applications by participating in hackathon project held in college .

The liberty to the students in the college is good
The food and facilities of the hostel is good
The facilities of the college is good in its own way

Dislikes

The events which will be happening in the college are very less ans I think there is no encouragement for students
The space of the college is very much less this needs to be improved
The timings of the college and the placement opportunities are less

There are placement opportunities in the college but the students are not getting selected for any company till now only oracle has hired 5 students. But the rest of students are not getting any good opportunities the hiring is not good

I liked the college atmosphere very much.
The faculty is friendly and gets along with students easily.
The food is not bad either and the campus cafe is the good spot to hangout with friends.

Dislikes

One of the major things is the campus is too small.
We won't get holidays for some festivals like others
Events are not good at all. They conduct all the events in auditorium only. It's kind of boring

Placement Experience:

The placements were not bad. I don't know much about placements but from what I heard is that placements would be good if u study well. I guess the highest package is 8,00,000 PA. And average is 4,00,000 PA.

The college has giving the good coaching and good faculty for us and they are providing us good computers for in the lab and the college has to improve the some more good teaching of education and discipline
My engagement with campus life has been positive with meaning full social interaction that have enriched my academic and personal experience
The faculty s experience was very excellent skills and good teaching method has been provided for us and givings us good mentor ship quality

Dislikes

They are providing good placements with 90 percentage and giving good internship for our future
They are providing good infrastructure in the campus and providing the good learning qualities for the students
The course curriculum has been both relevant and significantly contributing to my personal growth

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onwards students were eligible for campus placements The company names were Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, Flipkart, and Amazon. Many companies are visited and I have offered 2 companies out of them The highest package is 45 lakhs per annum and the average package is 5 lakhs per annum 90 percentage Doing a job and enjoying the life

The thing I liked about the college is the infrastructure with all those digital classrooms with central AC
Time to time seminars about each department and the extracurricular activities and all the fests and dj nights
NSS and NCC really was most of my fun part in the campus also staying in hostels and chilling with friends.

Dislikes

That we computer science students did not have any farewell it was devasting
The hostels sometimes do not give permission to go out even though your parents have agreed by telling some absurd rules
Getting permission for the events was a bit difficult

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite better , we start getting our placements from the start of our 4th year and about 100 companies come for employing the students and some companies may accept around 100 to 150 students also There are companies like TCS , Accenture, Cognizant, MuSigma, Tech Mahindra , SAP labs etc The highest package was around 11lakhs per annum for full stack developer

Positives gitam is well regardd for its academic standards
Infrastructure the campus is often praised for its modern infrastructure.

Reputation and academic standeds gitam has a stong reputation.

Students typically become eligible for campus placements from 6th sem onwards.After Completeing my degree I planned to explore opportunities in the the field of technology and data science peruing higher studies are gaining practical experience.
