Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and Research Mumbai Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Rizvi Institute of Management offers a full-time Master of Management Studies at the postgraduate level with the following specializations:

• Finance
• HR
• Marketing
• Information Technology
• Operations

Note: To be eligible for admission, the applicant must possess a valid score in CAT, MAT, ATMA or MAH-MBA/MMS-CET.The total intake seats for the course are divided into three categories:

• Seats allocated to general category students (35).
• Seats reserved for students belonging to the Muslim community (61).
• Seats allocated for the Institute level (24).

RIMSR Mumbai MMS Selection Criteria

Admission (for General and Muslim category candidates) will be granted on the basis of CAP rounds as conducted and governed by DTE. For the Institute level seats, the admission shall be granted by the Institute basis the inter-se merit list of the CET scores conducted by the competent authority.

All the vacant seats must be filled through CAP rounds or cancellations shall be filled by the institute basis the inter-se merit list of the CET scores and the norms prescribed by DTE.

Rizvi College of Management Studies and Research offers a Ph.D. program in management at the doctoral level. The duration of this full-time program is 3 years. The Ph.D. program offered by Rizvi College of Management is affiliated to S.N.D.T Women’s University Mumbai.

Ph.D. is offered in the following disciplines:

• Marketing Management
• Finance Management
• Human Resources Management
• Information Technology
• General Management
• Operations Management.

Note: Candidates who have cleared NET/SET(Maharashtra) /GATE/JRF/GPAT examination of apex bodies such as CSIR/ICMR/ICAR/UGC/DBT/AICTE are exempted from appearing for the written test but will be required to appear for a personal interview at the respective departments.

RIMSR Mumbai Ph.D. Eligibility 

Women candidates with a postgraduate degree with at least an aggregate of 55% marks in aggregate (for open categories) or at least 50% aggregate in post-graduation (for reserved category candidates)

RIMSR Mumbai Ph.D. Selection Criteria

Admission to the Ph.D. program is granted as per a valid score of Ph.D. Entrance test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The written test will consist of two sections: 

• Research Methodology (50 marks) and 
• Subject domain (50 marks)

During the PI round, the students will be required to make a presentation in their area of interest before the Interview Committee.
