The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

GOOD EDUCATION GOOD JOBS

Likes

Environment of the college premises including all sectors .
Behaviour of every faculties are too good they are friendly .
Opportunity to occour knowledge is high here .

Dislikes

Canteen management is very bad here in the tiffin hours .
There is nothing to be disliked about the campus.
There is nothing to be disliked more than the above.

Placement Experience:

From the ending of their 6th semester students are eligible for their placements by the leading companies . Companies like PWC, TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI , INFOSYS etc visits our college for the placements.

Placement of the college inside the campus
Opportunity to participate in different different activities
Unity of the class students and they are very helpful

Compulsory attendance for semester of college
I don't like bengoli language because I didn't understand
Average package of the college is not good

The placement inside the campus is good but if I see outside the campus then by giving interview in different different company I will get. But inside campus from semester 6 start to get placement. And I decided to further studies.

Good Education Good Jobs

Likes

The Faculties are hardworking and friendly.
The mess and canteen food are healthy and hygenic.
Frequent sports, innovation ideas and cultural fests.

Dislikes

Mandatory strict attendance criteria, u get debarred if attendance is low.
Lack of a big playground have to travel far from the college for sporting needs.
Over punctuality, gate closes at 9:15 and again reopens at 9:30 for less than 5 minutes, creates problem for day scholars relying on public transport.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semesteritself students are allowed to sit in placement drives and are elegible to be placed, About 80% students are placed frequently by TCS and Cognizant.Highest packages from top companies as offered to students are not less than 72 LPA.

Likes

Discipline and faculty is very nice over here..
The labs are good enough - well equipped, ventilated and good way of teaching.
The placement cell does an amazing job and hardworking

Dislikes

The distance from my place. As it is in action area 3 beside karigari bhavan it is hectic to go daily
The minimum attendance criteria is 75% otherwise they won't let you sit for exams

From 5th semester students are eligible for placement. Many companies like wipro,tcs, Capgemini, flipkart,and many more come for placement. Highest of our year is around 15 lpa and avg is 3lpa. Around 75% students can get placement easily amid this crisis which is actually a good deal.

THE TRUTH ABOUT UEM

Likes

Most of The teachers are amazing friendly and they teach well
Campus is ok at best no playground or anything but alright
Food is amazing the course structure is good

Dislikes

The fuss over attendence over 14 days of leave over a semester = get debarred
Gate closes at 9 30 and wont stay oepn for even a sec no matter if there is 1 student outside or 1000
The amount of pressure put is unnecessary and syllabus is extremly huge

Placement Experience:

At the end of 3rd year people can start to get placement there are a lot of companies like tcs,wipro,cognizant 80% of the students get placed after i get my degree i hope to crack mtech or upsc as i want to go to upsc.

My college life story & experience

In my college so much discipline. All faculty members are good .HoD and dien also so helpful they are helping us to every time when we are face any problem in our college
In my college there are all students wear same college uniform and if any don't wear college uniform then they are face many problems such a parent call and don't allow for class
In our college there are many labs and computer room for research and college provide book from library for help all students to study and in our library all rooms are available and every student got book from library

Dislikes

College gate closed at 9 :15 if any student reached after 9:15 then college are not allow for classes .this problem we all students are facing in our college
There hostel is not good there are not provided any good food .
If a students attendence less than 75% they are debarred from the semester.attendence is important for college

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this course so much difficult and exciting.for this course first I was saw court room ang judge and there are so much activities such moot court competition, debate. The curriculum prepares from the research and read the book . Courts are suggeste for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods. Practical experience is important for the course. Exam is hard but faculty members are helpful

My experience at UEM KOLKATA

Likes

Iht free structure of the college is affordable
They give plenty of holidays and vacation after the semester end
They provide pritty good placement for the students

Dislikes

There are only 12 days of leave and if your leave exceed the 12 days then you will debard
There is no AC in the classroom and The beaches are not managed properly
The exams are pretty hard, you have to study everyday to get good marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as fairly comprehensive and moderately relevant to industry needs. However, there are areas that could be improved for better alignment with real-world applications. And some subject are fun to study ????

COLLEGE ONESHOT

Likes

The college infrastructure is overall very good and well maintained.
All the floors in college building have unlimited free wifi services for students and staffs. The classrooms have microphones and speakers in it and also projectors for proper helping in studying .
The faculty members are also very good , most of the professors are from renowned prestigious colleges of India and abroad like the IITs and many more.

Dislikes

Although the college campus is very good and big but it does not have any proper field or ground for sports , rather they have a basement .
The quality of provided college drinking water is not good .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college courses are designed such a way that that the curriculum followed is proper up to date and according to modern day needs. The syllabus and the curriculum is always up to date and includes every mintue datas and the important parts and topics of recent times , like there are corces like AIML nd Robotics and AI , which follows the modern day needs and provides knowledge accordingly. Not onnly studying part but also after certain period frequent exams are also taken to enhance the skills of the students . Though some subjects like foreign language and some other feels like extra subjects but it also make our skill set unique among other students.

The faculty of our department is very good i liked
There is anti ragging sytem of our college is very good
the students in our college is very good

Dislikes

some of the teachers are not as good as others
i dont like the canteen system in our college
i dont like the fest culture in our college very poor

The curriculum that influnced me for doing this course in my buisness mindset i wanted to do this course and i also wanted to do Law so i joined as an integrated course like this. The difficulty level of the exams are also very tough.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
