Ques. What is the difference between B.E. ECE and B.E. {Lateral} ECE at KiTE?
Ans. The B.E. ECE is a 4-year programme for students who have completed Class 12 (10+2) with PCM. The B.E. {Lateral} ECE is a 3-year programme for Diploma holders or B.Sc. graduates who directly enter the 2nd year of the B.E. programme. Both programmes lead to the same B.E. degree from Anna University. The lateral entry route saves one year of study and is ideal for students who have already completed a relevant Diploma in Electronics, Communication, or related engineering.
