SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research Bareilly Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course due to my family as they wanted me to become a doctor. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20. All faculty members are MBS qualified. Exams occur after each semester. You need to study a bit to pass them.

Placements are good and begin from the final year i.e. from the 7th semester of engineering. There are approximately 120+ companies visited and every student is placed. The average package is 3.5LPA and Highest is 19LPA which is quite good for freshers.

Students eligible for placement in 7 semesters can apply for the exam conducted by the company for placement. Many companies are come to give placement like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, etc. The highest package offered by company is 19 lakhs per annum and the average package is 5 lakh per annum. 90% of students get placement.

I was from a math background instead of choosing to engineer I go for Pharmacy the reason is I was not so technical and I had an interest in chemistry doing practicals in reaction and all so I feel this is the better option to go for what I want. In my college we had a good faculty for each subject there are 2 or more 2 faculty were present and each is highly qualified in their field. We have 2 ut 2 mid sem and one pre University for internal and one exam of external and it is not so tough to crack if you are consistent in your study you can pass it easily.

Students become eligible after 6 semesters for placements. The avg. placement is 4-5lac/annum. The companies visited for placements are Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Coforge, HP, HCL, etc. About 70-80% of students get placements. My plans after completing BTech are to move abroad.

Placement is almost OK in this college, only final year students are eligible more like 7th semester. the company visited are low and mainly IT like TCS, Amazon, Mindtree. the bulk-hiring is done by TCS at my time and the rest company takes only 15 to 25 students. The number of companies hiring is low, mainly students have to rely on off-campus placements. The average package is 4 Lacs and in my batch, one girl got on amazon and got 17 LPA. But most students get 3.5 LPA. The percentage is around 50% if we include all the branches and if we talk about CS, IT and EC percentage rise to 80%. My plan is to get a place in a nice company as I was not selected by any company on campus.

In fourth-year student is ready for placements. In our college infotech, tcs, HCL, and many other companies visit every year and many seniors are placed in these companies. Our one senior is placed in amazon with 19 LPA. Around 70 % of students are placed in companies.

From 6th semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placement. The alkem, lupin, MacLeod, mankind etc company has visited earlier. The highest package is around 5 lakh per annum. The% of students is about 20% . My plan after completion of my degree is to join a marketing.

From the 7th sem, students are eligible to attend placement interviews. Many companies such as TCS, Wipro visit every year and hired many students. Maximum 26 lakh package has been offered to students. The average package is 3-4 LPA and the percentage of placed students is too high.
