Likes

The faculties are well experienced and good in their respective subjects.
The fest and other annual cultural events are the most memorable. and the new auditorium is awesome for a government college like this.
The mbbs course has a well prepared curriculum which really helps us to prepare the students for becoming good doctors in the future.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not that good like in the first year we have to stay in the hall which is not good.
Only thing that i didn't like about the admission process is it feels like a rat race as every person is in this for years to get qualifying marks, some years are lost but at last it's all worth it
I dislike to be in funda in hostel room as well

The things that I like most is that it's academic is very good there are regular test and practices of the syllabus and classes are very regular and in every class the teacher are present .
Tha availability of cadever is quite sufficient .student got the chance to actually observe the cadavour by himself .
It's lab either it is biochem or physiology lab it is one of the finest lab every practical is being performed the equipments are new fashioned .and maintained is good condition

Dislikes

I think the infrastructure of the college need to be improve especially the hospital area .
The availability of play ground is not sufficient .yes some play ground are available .But no ground for cricket football .
The administration of the colleges are not much supportive .if you ask for something the will reply violently .

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a medical college so after 4.4 year there is a essential internship for one year .so after completing the internship you have to go for rular services that is around 2 year .for that the gov will pay you around 100000 per month so yes it is decent and it increase as well .

Campus of my college is too small but affordable. Social interaction are great because my college is medical college so different types of people come and interact with us
Faculty of my college are great and knowledgefull. All facilities are expert in their own subject
Infrastructure of my college are well developed and also hospital associated with my college are well developed

Dislikes

Campus are too small and don't have any sports ground for outdoor games
Infrastructure of some lectures hall are too bad and don't have a enough space for students

course of mbbs are too worst and large because there are total 19 subject and duration of time are 5.5 years. Every year University take a exam for promote students to next year. Those students who passed the exam get promoted to next year curriculum

How to make doctors

Likes

College has sufficient lecture hall so , no problem of lecture hall for study
College has two big auditorium with capacity of 1000 seat each with comfortable seats
College has best practicle lab there is no lack of practice as a medical student

Dislikes

College doesn't have well structured ground for sports
College doesn't have big hostel for our living
In some lecture hall a.c.doesnt work properly so in summer there is problem in study

The college offers opportunities for students to gain practical experience and apply their knowledge in real life situation. Labs are well equipped and teachers are excellaent and the college has functional hospital that helps in real experience.

24 hour Library Reading Room for studying
Lecture hall is well ventilated with air conditioner

Dislikes

Some of the Lecture Hall are not renewed like AC is non-functional
Drinking water from RO is not available everywhere in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum a 10/10 as I have already explained in the previous question about the college. There are a total of 4 exams in whole one year with practicals also which are of real patient interaction based.

Things i like in my college are College festivals and other religious festivals
Teachers here are very kind and helping in nature

There are almost 3 to 4 exams per years which include 2 terminals 1 pre university and and last final university so exams are difficult you have to study all time and most difficult is viva practical exams

The Specifications of Pt. JNMMC Raipur

Likes

24 hours open outer library, inner Library is closed at 12:00 AM and opened 9:30 AM
Almost every department of Medicine and Surgery with Non Clinical and Para clinical department are available.

Dislikes

Amenities like clean drinking water is not available everywhere in the campus
The lecture hall is not repaired ASAP, 3 out of 4 Lecture hall doesn't have well functioning air conditioning

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good teachers are good Post Graduates students also help us in topics during our clinical postings. Proff and teachers use digital medium with pictures and video on digital screens to teach us and make us understand better.

Likes

The infrastructure includents learning facilities and amenities are good. And the girls boys ratio is 1.8:1
The faculties are very experienced and they help students in every aspect of life. The curriculum is relevant and promotes personal and professional development.
All the social events are very useful in order for overall growth and development

Dislikes

Sometimes, all the cultural events overlap with the academic timetable which is stressful
The management sometimes gets disturbed and organisation of events take a lot of effort to make it possible
Sometimes the relationship between seniors and juniors tensed resulting in a serious environment over there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The frequency and timing of exams is also good and the difficulty level is maintained. And the curriculum prepare well for real world experiences and how to deal with people.

MBBS IN PT. JNM MEDICAL COLLEGE

This college is the best college of the whole state, so the patient exposure is quite good.
The college building has well established departments which provides a good theoretical And practical knowledge to the students.
The Faculty members are themselves the topmost and experienced doctors, so they provide us with best content possible.

Dislikes

Campus of the college is a bit disappointing. It lacks a proper sports arena for sports.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of MBBS is tough and needs rigorous hardwork. The study hours in college is long which extends almost upto 8 hrs per day. Teaching methods needs to be improved . It can be improvised by simplifying the topics by giving appropriate examples rather than simply reading the slides of the ppt.

Best Medical College in the State for MBBS

Likes

Well Experienced Professors who are themselves the top Doctors of the State.
Excellent Patient Exposure as in the field of Medical Sciences, a good Patient Exposure is a must and as the associated Dr. BRAM Hospital is the highest Government Hospital in the State, the Exposure is very nice.
The Fest and Other Annual Cultural Events are the most Memorable. And the New Auditorium is Awesome for a Government college Like this.

Dislikes

College campus is a bit small as it is in the heart of the City and If you expect a large campus, you will surely be slightly disappointed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course has a well prepared Curriculum which really helps us to prepare the students for becoming Good Doctors in the future. Exams are the reason why most of the Students open their books and even the Practical exams and the vivas may sometimes be haunting but definitely are memorable experiences.
