Women Institute of Technology Dehradun Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course is a little bit more complex than the other branches but it is interesting at the same time. Because it's a women's college i.e. WOME INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, the student ratio is less but the faculty is supportive and best at teaching the subject.

I CHOOSE THIS BECAUSE I WAS INTERESTED IN TECHNOLOGY ESPECIALLY IN THE FIELD OF CIVIL ENGINEERING. THE FACULTY WAS ENOUGH AS COMPARED TO THE STUDENT RATIO. MOST OF THE FACULTY WAS PURSUING PHD ESPECIALLY FROM IIT AND NIT, SOME FACULTY WERE MTECH, BTECH. THE PROGRAM DURATION FOR A STUDENT TO COMPLETE THE ACADEMIC AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS AT THE COLLEGE AND QUALITY FOR THE AWARD OF DEGREE BY THE UNIVERSITY WAS 8 SEMESTERS WITH 2 INTERNALS IN EVERY SEMESTER.

The campus infrastructure is very good. All necessary facilities are available in college like proper labs, library. All classrooms are equipped with DLP's and have proper ventilation. The college has a very beautiful campus with a proper garden and sitting place. It has proper and big canteen. I am studying engineering in mechanical from this college. I have a great experience studying here. Teaching quality is very good teachers are very supportive and helpful. The syllabus is also updated and it makes our job-ready by providing proper practicals. Placement quality is very good in Shri ram, the college provides proper placement training to students for more placement chances. The average salary package offered to students is 4.5 lac. The campus process is easy and simple. I feel completely worthy of money. here fee structure for engineering courses is approx 60000 per year. But category students also get the scholarship. I belong to the OBC category so I didn't need to pay any fees, my scholarship counts, as fees. Campus life is awesome here. Shri Ram has so many clubs and societies which provide all-rounded development of students. Shri Ram also organizes DJ nights, Cultural and sports fest every year.

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.

The college management is done by the staff which is well qualified and Assam state duty on time everything is organised and held. There are never scenes of panic is everything is managed in such a way that is easy for in student to understand the system of the college.

This college is the best college for those who wants to study in an all-girls college because many benefits are providing here for the students. Also, the teachers and faculty are great at handling us. Just the facility of internships is missing but that will be filled up very soon.

I had to give the one and only JEE Mains entrance examination in order to get qualified for the eligibility criteria to seek admission in an engineering college at the first place. After that the college selected students as per their entrance exam scores.

The college is much better than expected, but due to external checking system, the marks obtained are not good and we have to pay a handsome sum for rechecking of copies.
