There are scholarships available for students based on their merits.
College staff was there available when we need any help regarding admission .
The faculty members are great at their work, and create a very friendly environment.

Dislikes

Poor Elevator facility. And confusing infrastructure
The college is located a little far from mainland Mumbai, making it difficult for students living in Central and Western side to travel on a daily basis.
At the college was affiliated to Mumbai university so things were disorganized

I choose this course because I have to pursue my career in this financial world. The course curriculum and the faculty members are the best. The support given by the faculty will help you choose the right path. The learning styles of all the faculty are unique and very much effective for students to grow.

Start to knowing the pillai college

Likes

College was strict at exam time that is very good thing. It is very important for students.
Facilities that college provided that's aslo good in that the computer labs are very good.
For Sports students all facilities are available. College provided the big playground for sport. Everyday having the game practice of all games. For that college provided the faculty.

Dislikes

College provided time table before the 1/2 hour only
They give importance for fests more study. Because in fest time lecture are very less and that lecture are in online mode so student are not attending the lecture.
In 1 week the 1 day having the online lecture . I don't know why but in my batch my friends and me also not like that process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in coding that's why I am choosing this field which is information technology. The faculty is very good. The method they teach is also good and understandable. And Incorouge me to make a career in this field. And the exam was very strict. During exam time 2 -3 coordinators are there so copy was done by the student. By chance, some were seen to copy they will fail all subjects in that exam.

Overview of pillai college

Likes

The college infrastructure is very well developed.
The college conducts many extra curricular activities like cultural program debate competition etc.
Most of the students got good placements with good package.

Placement Experience:

The student becomes eligible for the placement after passing the second year. IDFC back, Vipro ,ICICI , Kotak Bank . The average package is 6 lakh and the highest package given is 10 lakh plus. The percentage of a student getting placement is more than 70%.

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the college, sports , events
Supportive and cooperative faculty, office staff and teachers. Lots of opportunities to explore oneself.
I would say even the principal and vice principal would help the students of we need any help

Dislikes

Since my class was on 6th floor going by lift wasn't allowed and if allowed lift would never work properly
Concession office would work when we have our class so that was the difficulty to get the railway concession
Some time students weren't allowed to sit in college we had some work

Placement Experience:

What I have heard about the placement of my college is good. Since I am a first-year student I don't know much about it but at the end of the third year placement cell starts to work for the eligible students. I saw various deserving students get deserving jobs with the help of the placement cell.

I really liked the faculty and the education that is been provided to us by the teachers
The canteen food is veryy niceee...the canteen staff is very friendly
The Alegria festival of joy brings out the talents of many students

Overall Experience in College

Likes

The library which helped us in our exams and increased our knowledge
The facilities or opportunity provided by the college to students for their carrer growth.
The teaching method and interactive teachers which helped us to be ready for any situation like exams, campus placement etc

Dislikes

Sometimes there is too much of study that make the lecture little less interesting.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement for students began from Semester 4 or 5 as far as I know. In campus place many companies have come and showed interest in the students and offered us for job in their company. The average monthly package starts from 15000 to 25000 offered to fresher in the college by companies.After the degree my plans are do as much professional courses as I can do so that I could get the job according to my potential.

A well-developed infrastructure and a great library with all of the necessary equipment and variety of courses.

Likes

The infrastructure is really big and great with an amazing view.
The library has a wide variety of books on almost each and every topic.
The faculty is good and the teaching staff is supportive.

Dislikes

Attendance is really strict which I think can be eased.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had an interest in doing anything related to biology hence opted for this course. The faculty is good and well-informed and they help the students with everything. Teaching is done in online and offline modes. 1 internal and 1-semester exam in each semester and it was moderately difficult

College syllabus is updated every year to provide best knowledge to the students
Extra curricular activities are encouraged very much
College has a spacious infrastructure and its one of the best college in terms of infrastructure

Dislikes

The placement opportunities for PG coming in our college is low.
Mandatory 75% attendance should be realxed

The syllabus is taken on a module basis and the course curriculum is revised based on ongoing trends. The faculty members are well qualified with deep knowledge of their subjects. The student-teacher ratio is quite good. Faculties use digital tools to provide a good perception of the study. There are two terms per year.

Likes

College has an excellent infrastructure and course with good faculty
Annual fest 'Alegria' and various Clubs.
Fantastic campus life with different activities and facilities

Dislikes

Need more placement and internship opportunities

Our institution has a dedicated placement cell as well. And the students are eligible for the placement from the last semester. The placement cell also provides appropriate training to the students. It also organizes placement fairs to which various companies are invited.

Campus placement is provided for those who have passed in 2nd year irrespective of field. Internships are provided that all levels till graduation. Big companies such as BSE, HDFC Securities, ICICI Lombard, IDFC Bank and many more, knocked on one's door to provide jobs. Every campus placement provides an average package of 4 lakh plus. Every 10 out of 7 students get placements.
