The institute offers BBA, BCA, and B.Com at undergraduate level. To be eligible for admission, students should have obtained minimum 40% aggregate marks in senior secondary examinations.
For applying to B. Com course, student should have studied at least two subjects from Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Office Management and Secretarial Practice, Principle and Practice of Insurance. Admissions of eligible candidates are based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Bhai Gurdas Institute of Management and Technology Scholarships
The college offers various scholarship schemes for meritorious students of SC, BC category students and minority communities as per the guidelines of GOI and Government of Punjab.
- Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ ST /OBC students of Punjab and other states: The scholarship is given to such students whose parental income is less than 2 lakh per annum.
- Merit-cum-means based Scholarship Scheme for Minority Community (Sikh, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Parsi) students of Punjab and other states: Scholarship is given to these students whose parental income is not more than 2.5 lacs per annum.
- Special Scholarship Scheme for students of Jammu and Kashmir: Scholarship is given to these students whose parental income is less than 6 lakh per annum.
Note: The students who qualify in any of these categories can send their application on prescribed format for grant of scholarship to the Directorate of Welfare of SC’s and BC’s, Punjab through the head of school/ college/ Institute.

Students who wish to get admission in these PG courses must have completed graduation in relevant stream from a recognized university. Admission to management quota seats for M.Com and MCA are filled through national/ state/ university level tests. Admission will be merit based for all other seats or as per the rules of the institute.
Admission to management quota seats for MBA course is based on national level entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc. Rest of the seats are filled on the basis of state level/university level/ merit basis or as per the rules of the institute.
