Ramakrishna Mission Vivekanada Centenary College was established in 1944 to commemorate first birth centenary of Swami Vivekanad. The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and research courses under the departments of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and, Language. Admissions are offered only for the male candidates.

Rahara Ramakrishna Mission B.Sc Admission 2024

The college offers three-year Bachelor’s in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology. Candidates applying for Honors courses in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics must have passed Higher Secondary Council (West Bengal) examinations or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

For Botany and Zoology admissions, Biology and Chemistry are compulsory at HSC level. Candidates will be admitted to all the B.Sc. specializations through the entrance exam conducted at college level.

Applicant’s score in best five subjects will be considered for calculating merit percentage.

At postgraduate level, the college offers Masters Program in Botany and Zoology for the candidates holding graduation degree in related/ concerned disciplines of Science. Admissions will be made through the entrance exam conducted by RKMVCC. Candidate’s academic performance will be considered for issuing final merit list.

Select B.Sc course for UG applications under Admissions tab at the home page.
For PG applications, select M.Sc course.
Separate application form has to be filled for each course.
Pay the application fee and fill the application form online.
Application fee for UG courses is INR 250 and for PG courses is INR 350.
Application fee can be paid online through electronic payment gateway or offline through any SBI branch.

I choose this college over other is because of it's discipline. As part of being in ramakrishna mission and there have no ragging policies and other universities may have ragging policies. I applied to all Calcutta University along with kalyani university but I choose this college. Yes I have got rejection from few colleages due to its over application. I think my marks were not enough to get admission in that college. The admission process is simple. Just after completing the 12 th exam application would started. And to get the admission the minimum marks required is 60% in both the 10th and 12th examination. And also along with that they conduct an exam to get admission in the college.

Admission:

This is a Boys college so only male students are given addmission and one is eligible to apply for MSc Mathematics and Computing if he obtains a mean percentage of 50% up to the first 5 semesters of one's BSc in mathematics with almost 30 seats on offer and reservation of seats for the OBC, SC and ST as per as the government norms. The application is to be made online in the official website of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara, www.rkmvccrahara.org and is available from the first week of July every year. There is no admission test and is purely based on the marks obtained at the bachelors' level.

Admission procedure is by entrance exam with 25 MCQ questions for correct +3 for wrong -1. Considering entrance marks and Higher secondary marks the list is been published. Exam center is only one RKMVCC, Rahara. College has reservation benifits. Admission:

We all must have 60% in our HS exam in all science subjects to join this college. We can find the application form, application fees and application dates from online. There are total 6 semesters in our cource. Per year 4 exams are held, 2 mid-sem exams and 2 end-sem exams i.e. all year 4exams are held. The exams are too tough and few common questions we can find. There are no such advice to improve, all is previously improved.
