Government College of pharmacy Amravati

Likes

The teaching staff of the college is highly qualified and skilled.
I personally like the events such as freshers, gathering in the college.
The student teacher interaction is tremendous in the college.

Dislikes

I don't like the infrastructure of the college.
Classroom are quite hot in summer because of absence of air conditioners.
There is no personal ground available for sports in the college.

The course which I am currently pursuing is bachelor of pharmacy and it is an 4 year 8 semester course. This course provides you various opportunities in the pharmaceutical field in the future, teacher have a very good manner of teaching so they makes concept clear and easier.

Good for Self study and get tag of government

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course because this course is professional and I think better than bsc. In this course there 2-semester exams in a year and before every semester there are two sessional exams. If you failed any semester exam (1st-4th) you can not get admission in 3 years (5th sem). You have to clear all the semester exams.

Overall College is very Good

Placement Experience:

Yes, TCS organised a campus for final year students for a salary of 14000. For a better option, students have to find an option for themselves. I will join the Pharmaceutical company after my M.Pharmacy for R&D purpose.

Pharmacy College.

Admission:

Applicants needs to pass 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks and with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics/ (Botany + Zoology) as the subjects are required, for applying for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Admissions to B.Pharm. program are done through KCET score ( an entrance exam held).

Remarks:

The collge is very good. The environment is also very healthy. The only thing is that the college has very small campus's and they don't provide any hostel facility. So many students are from poor family they unable to paid rents of mess and room. It is very helpful for students if hostel facility is available.
