Each department's faculty comprises 10-15 members, including 3-4 Heads of Department (HoDs), 4-5 Professors, 2-3 Postgraduate Junior Residents (JRs), and more. Exams are scheduled as two internals, a pre-professional, and a professional exam annually for the MBBS course, which covers 19 subjects over four years. Faculty members are generally knowledgeable and supportive, with JRs being particularly helpful in both academics and personal development. While some faculty members prefer limited interaction, most are approachable and understanding of student needs.
Despite some challenges, students are expected to be self-reliant in their studies, similar to other medical colleges. A structured schedule is provided at the session's start, ensuring students are informed about exam and lecture timings. The college boasts a high pass rate, with less than 1% of students failing the final exam, and those who do typically succeed in supplementary exams.
