JIS School of Polytechnic Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 4th semester students became eligible for campus placements L&T, Simplex, Wipro, IBM, and many other companies visited and selected according to their merit list and capabilities depends upon students to achieve their goals. 3.80 lacks CTC per anum offered to the students of renowned companies. Eligibility criteria of the student's percentage are 70-80 %. 70% of the students get 4.80 lacs CTC per anum few of them placed abroad in their respective fields. After getting a degree I want to go to higher studies and I would like to do my higher studies JIS GROUP.

My plan after getting this degree is higher study. 80% of students got placement. Average package is 2.4 LPA.

From 4th semester students become eligible for campus placement. A various reputed company like - Centrum Electronics Ltd, Mitsuba Social, Sonodyne are visited here for placement. Average package - 2 LPA. More than 75% of students placed who are interested in the placement. But the Higher study is my plan after this course.

The placement scenario of the college is not acceptable because of almost 20% of students are placed different companies the salary is not good and the students become eligible for campus placement after 5th semester.

Management

After the 5th semester, we are facing different types of placements. Company has shown different types of criteria. Average package is10,000.

Approx 70% of my batch mates are placed. Highest package is rs. 20000 and the lowest package is 10000. Many high profile companies have visited our campus for recruitment. The tpo of our college is very active and always motivates us to do better and support us in every possible way.

This course provides a job in a short time. Job Are available in this Course. The faculty and students ratio is 1:4. All faculty members are B-TECH holder, the teaching method is so good and simple.

Campus placements are good and the 5th semester's students become in campus placement job are eligible. Minimum 70 % of students are placed in this course.

In our college, the campusing was started in semester 5, The minimum to maximum salary package giving from the held campusing company was 10,0000 to 21,000, In our college they giving placement 60% to 70 % student, After the completing course, I am trying to joining a technical work field to gain more experience, it's should be govt or private, and also prepare myself for higher studies in technical.
