Medicine is a very interesting subject and that is what attracted me to it. The applications and reasoning you learn here are amazing. The faculty of ESIC Hyderabad is very qualified and skilled. We have multiple professors for the same subject, because of this our student: teacher ratio is very solid. About every day we are divided into small groups for discussion where around 8 students are mentored by 1 teacher, so the personal attention is very nice. All the faculty here have done MD from renowned institutes. the teaching methodologies used here are very effective and different from other colleges. This institute provides students with a more practical and clinical-oriented learning style from day 1. We have seminars, presentations, quizzes, discussions, anything to enhance the teaching process. Exams here are conducted very often, true it's hectic but that is what helps us get through this extremely tough course. The exams are conducted like weekly once or even twice later on.

NEET was an only entrance exam students give for taking part in any medical college.This paper syllabus is totally based on the courses we were taught in Cl 11&12. This college also gave admission on the merit of Neet exam

Admission criteria is merit. They take admission in the basis of scores obtained in NEET. Students are then called for counselling and colleges are slotted then according to ranks. Then we have to pay the necessary fee and admission is granted.

I made into the college through the rank I achieved in NEET. My rank matched with the first cutoff released by the college. They called me on a given date for granting me admission and signing related documents.

Firstly I should say that getting yourself enrolled in a medical college itself is never easy( for general and obc candidates) as concerned people know how tough it is owing to the huge number of candidates and cutoffs. This college is a central government college although the academic department runs under the state medical academic board i.e. the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). Thus the salary of the interns, doctors and health care providers is of central payscale. Furthermore this college has good infrastructure and cleaner environment also. The faculties are helpful and experienced. The library is resourceful.

The admission process in our college depends upon the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination and on the entrance examination. Students after qualifying their higher secondary examination comprising of subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics with minimum 50 percent of marks are eligible to apply for admission in this course. After fulfilling the marks requirement, i cleared my National Entrance Cum Eligibility Test (NEET UG) and finally got admission in this course.

The admission Procedure was not so simple. The candidates were selected on the basis of NEET marks by the college. The candidates must had biology in their 12th standard. The eligibility criteria for selection was 50% in 12th board.
