ICDEOL Admission Process 2025

CDOE offers both online and offline admission modes. ICDEOL generally offers two admission cycles: the first during the first half of the year (May - June) and the second during the next half of the year (November - December).

• For ICDEOL admission, it is mandatory for the students to deposit a hard copy of the form along with self-attested photocopies of the required documents in the concerned branch by hand or by post.
• All students must create their ABC ID and DEB ID before getting registered for fresh admission. After online registration, applicants undergo document verification or counseling, where original qualifications are reviewed. Fee payment is required to confirm the admission.

ICDEOL Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for all UG & PG programs for ICDEOL HPU:

• UG Courses Admission: The undergraduate distance programs by CDOE require a Class 12th passed mark sheet through a recognized board. You need to achieve at least a score of 45-50% in your 12th examinations.
• PG Courses Admission: PG courses from the ICDEOL HPU require candidates to have a bachelor's degree certificate from a recognized university. In that degree, you should have a minimum mark of 45-50%.

Online Admission Process

The primary mode of admission is online. To apply to ICDEOL:

• Visit the Official Admission Portal: https://admissions.hpushimla.in/icdeolmain.aspx
• Register: Create a new applicant ID by providing your name, email ID, ID proof, and mobile number.

• Log In: Use your new credentials to log in to your account and then you will see the interface of Pre Admission Dashboard.

• Fill Application Form: Complete all sections, including personal, educational, and contact details.

• Upload Documents: Attach scanned copies of required documents such as your photograph, signature, birth certificate, academic certificates, and ID proof.
• Pay Application Fee: The registration fee is INR 500 (non-refundable). Payments can be made online via UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, or other available methods.
• Submit Application: After reviewing all details, submit your application.

Offline Admission Process

For candidates who prefer offline admission:

• Obtain the Prospectus and Application Form: Visit the HPU CDOE office at Summer Hill, Shimla, or contact them via phone or email to request the prospectus and application form.
• Fill the Application Form: Complete the form manually with accurate details.
• Attach Required Documents: Include photocopies of necessary documents such as your photograph, signature, birth certificate, academic certificates, and ID proof.
• Pay Application Fee: The registration fee is INR 500 (non-refundable). Payment can be made through a demand draft in favor of “The Finance Officer, H.P. University, Shimla” payable at Shimla.
• Submit Application: Submit the completed application form along with the required documents and a demand draft to the HPU CDOE office.

ICDEOL Admission 2025 Documents Required

Given below are the documents required during the ICDEOL HPU admission.

ICDEOL DEB ID

As per the UGC-DEB guidelines, each student must create a DEB ID using their ABC ID to get admission to any distance learning institution. DEB ID is mandatory to get admission to Himachal Pradesh University’s distance education.

The purpose of the DEB ID is to ensure that students are admitted to recognized institutions and approved programs. Students are required to have an ABC ID before creating the DEB ID. To create the ABC ID, students need to follow some of the simple steps:

• Step 1: Go to the Digilocker website or open the Digilocker app.
• Step 2: Log in using your Aadhar Card and phone number.
• Step 3: Under the Education and Learning tab, click on the Academic Bank of Credit.
• Step 4: Now, press the ABC ID card and enter all the personal information.
• Step 5: Tick the consent box and click on the submit button.
• Step 6: Students will receive the ABC ID by registered mail.

Applicants must have a mobile number for the registration process.
