Eligibility Criteria
- For a 5-year Integrated Course: (10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
- For 3-year LLB Course: Graduate degree from any recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate
- Pass Grade in LAWCET: 45% minimum
- SC/ST Candidates have a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks
- A candidate with 45% or more in BEd or other PG courses is also eligible to seek admission in LLB even if he/she secures less than 45% at degree level
How to Apply?
To apply for the LLB / LLB integrated program, the candidate needs to appear for the LAWCET Entrance Exam conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The application fee is INR 800 for general, OBC and EWS categories and INR 500 for SC, ST students.
Eligibility for LAWCET
- 3-year LL.B Course: The Candidates for 3 year LL.B. should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned. If any candidate secured less than 45% in graduation, he should have passed any additional graduation or post-graduation with 45%.
- 5 Year LL.B. Course: The Candidates for 5 year LL.B. should have passed two-year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P
- The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation / post-graduation through the open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission into the law courses.
