With education the college also motivates us to take part in various activities. The college has a really great infrastructure and the best facilities which no other institute provides. The institute is named after the great Satyajit Ray and they have maintained the dignity of the name of the legend.

Many enormous directors and artists visit our institute on a regular basis and teach us many lessons related to our lesson. The institute provides many different facilities to the students with fantastic lab facilities and digital classrooms. The library of the institute has so several digital copies of works of enormous species.

There are various extracurricular activities like sports tournaments, site visits, exhibitions and many other such academic events are hosted and many other events are also held in our campus.

Our college believes not only in academic advancement of students but also the student's advancement in extracurricular activities, many sports tournaments like hockey, football, cricket are held regularly and these tournaments are also played among students from other colleges.

This institute is having plenty of functions and activities for us students. Short movies,fests,film festivals, advertisement is some of the activities I have seen here till this moment... Screenings of many movies too take place here

All the festivities began with the day 1 of our college. We almost celebrated every festival of all parts of India... Whether it's onam or holi we had everything inside our college campus... Different film screening was too done there free of cost.

The college is excellent for extracurricular activities as well as extracurricular activities. They aim for the holistic development of students and therefore provide them with a variety of sporting activities and public activities to ensure their best growth.

The students at SRFTI are multi-talented and not just restricted to their field of study. The students organize a number of events throughout the year. Some of which are CDC-SRFTI Debate, various workshops on Motivation & Leadership , Screenings and many other events.

The students are involved in a number of co-curricular activities ranging from music, debating, dramatics, fashion, singing and much more. The students participate and organize various events throughout the year and are considered to be very talented compared to other film institutions.
