Reason why I chossed VCOVS

Likes

The good and friendly behaviour of the college faculties.
Digital college classroom is also available.
The quality of the study material and facilities are great.

Dislikes

Timing of the college is too early for me.
The location of the college is too interior from min road.

I love my college

Likes

Campus life is quiet good and entertaining
Infrastructure is good. Placement are more accurate
Faculty members are too much friendly.. treating u as a family

Dislikes

There is no place to do outdoor activity
More playing facilities should be include
More activity along with study should be a part

A good carrier option you will get if you enter this course.. a wide field of options is there in the optometry field. you can go both in medical as well as IT line after completing this course.. teaching and research line is also available after completing a bachelor

My college teacher and faculty all stuffs
Our rooms are so big,digital screen ,ac room
So many retinoscope,trial box ,trial frame

Dislikes

Lift not available and cantine,not good food stall
The college rooftop is not open ,this is auditorium
College not in the high locality area ,not road aide

Course Curriculum Overview:

After the 12th exam, I m searching for a course doctorate but an optometrist is also a doctor who can open a chamber also visit patients during all of this .faculty student is 60. we have West Bengal's best teachers. They were awarded at the national level. One of the best colleges in Kolkata. we are achieving all facilities during checkups in camp, every month my college organized so many free camps. all students have a chance to do. my course faculty is very good.

The behaviour of the all teachers and staffs

Dislikes

Timing of the college is too early according to me
School like dress and can not relate the actual college life you wanted
Excessive study pressure is not a good things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I am interested in the medical field. The faculty of this college is awsome. There are 60seat in every year. This college is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. There are 4 CA exams and one external exam in a semester.

After the 8th Semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are many companies like Lenscart, Himalaya and visit. 99 per cent of students get placement. My plans after getting this degree is to do masters in Optometry

The campus not too big , it could be more big

Placement Experience:

After 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Lenskart, Titan many more companies visits our college with number of offers for students. Starting price of package is from 25000 and it increases with time.

I chose this course because I want to help people to give their eyesight back. In our country, maximum people lose their eye sight lacking treatment. Faculties qualification is much good and their teaching method is very appreciable

Teaching skills of the teachers are just wonderful
Friendly with the students and we are friendly too
Environment is very peaceful no creating of problems

Dislikes

There's no space for a function or to play
Have to come to college everyday Monday to Saturday
There's no practical class in weekdays it's is only in weekend

They are nice to every student. There's no partiality between them and the students. Every teacher is highly educated and teaches us like their own children. No matter how many times we ask the same question they will repeat it until we understand it.

One to one instrument handling, difficult instrument availability
Timming schedule, very early college time
Not all govt holidays given, if you are there there will be more classes than holidays

After the 8th-semester students are eligible for placement. Zeiss, Lenskart, Sankara Netralaya, Netralaya, Titan eye plus, GKB optical, Dr. Agarwal eye hospital, Susrut eye foundation, Disha eye hospital, LVPEI.

Things which you should know about VCOVS

Likes

Faculties-the motivation they always give while teaching and specially our sir who is head, he is the best
Campus environment-first it was a little difficult to adjust but then we had our best time
Scopes of this course- we have a number of options of this course

Dislikes

No holidays-sir don't allow us to take holiday. We had classes even on national holidays like gandhi jayanti
No canteen in the campus area-this was the worst thing we had over here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have always wanted to do medicine. The faculty and student ratio can be 1:2. All our facilities are optometrists and they know how to bring the best out of their students. We have CA exams and then we have semesters. Always have to be prepared for the exams to score well and learn everything
