Life of a fresher at Jemtec Greater Noida

Likes

The faculty is very well spoken and well educated.
The Library boasts an outstanding selection of books.
The seniors are very friendly and open for conversation.

Dislikes

There is absolutely no scope for good placement.
There is sometimes miscommunication regarding holidays and fests inside of the campus.
The structure to join various societies is very vague.

Placement Experience:

Negligible placement is offered on campus. Students become eligible for placement in the 5th or 6th semester only if all backlogs are first cleared. Very few companies visit the campus and if I remember correctly only 10 or 20 offers were made of 3-4 lpa only. The highest package offered was 9lpa. The percentage of students getting placement is negligible. My plan after my degree is to either pursue an M.tec from a reputed college or kill myself.

Placement Experience:

After the 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Google, HCL, etc. Came to our campus and provide job opportunities to our best students. The highest package is 17 lacs and the average package is 12 lacs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided but many are kinda low profile after 3rd sem one can go for internships but internships offered by the college are more about the experience and less stipend. And if we ask seniors about placements then it's not up to the expectations you Just need to adjust.

It is important to note that the colleges you mentioned are considered to be 'Tier 4 & Tier 5' B-Schools, meaning they are below average in comparison to other B-Schools. The median package offered at these schools is typically around 3-4 LPA with faculty that may not be as competent as those at higher-ranked institutions.

When comparing these institutes, you will find that they charge similar academic fees, but the placement opportunities and international placements they advertise may not always be attainable. Investing 7-8 LPA or more in an unstable job that pays less than half of the fees you paid for your education may not be a wise decision. Additionally, obtaining an MBA from these institutions is not only a financial investment but also an investment of your time and efforts.

For a better return on investment, it is recommended to attempt the CAT exam and try to get into the IIMs or FMS, as opposed to institutions like JIMS Rohini, Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida, or Asia Pacific.

In conclusion, it is not recommended to pursue an MBA from these colleges. A better option may be to invest the money into a fixed deposit or start your own business.
