The Reality of Studying Here

Veg canteen is soo Good the Food is delicious and they take care of hygiene and it's actually affordable
Football Court is very Big and the Grass everything when we play it's just good to play and i enjoy a lot while playing
Library is Silent and the Study material is easily available and the librarian is co-operative and u can peacefully study over there but u can't use Phone

Dislikes

Security Guard they know about me from 1st Sem but still act rude and force to wear ID card it's hetic
Some faculties are annoying they just burst out without any reason on u please stay away with these faculty
some Class rooms don't even have tube light no fan nothing and during summer or when it's dark during cloudy days it's difficult to see the board

Internships Opportunities:

In our college group once in a week they post a intership program which is related to our subject and usually it's free intership no stipend but sometimes they send some intership with stipend but it usually be full-time and in our college they conduct workshop every month where we learn about cyber security, coding language etc

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Likes

Beautiful campus and its huge. Classrooms are clean. Washrooms can be better.
Teachers are kind in my department. And chill.
The college is trying its best to improve ots infrastructure such as lab, and even the placement office is trying its best.

Dislikes

Can be very strict with dress code and other stuff such as being punctual, which i find too much is unnecessary
Wish there were better canteen , it gets too crowded because there are multiple institutions.
They close back gate at 8:30 which many people use , so many of them have to travel a lot to front gate.

Internships are not offered by placement cells, students are asked to find internships by themselves though it is compulsory placement cell only care about final year students. We have subjects like mini project, major project which also carries mark towards the degree.

Few faculty never teach us very well

The company is Verzeo they offered us when we was studying the role is business development executive and we have to call the customer I mean students and sell the project which is related to their study

I am a 2nd year 4th sem student and i will go internship next year in 6th sem and the college provide the abroad opportunities for internship for 6 month in top 5 star hotels. Seniors have gone to new zealand for internship

An overview on TJohn College, Bangalore

Likes

there are a lot of events conducted by the college throughout the year on a daily basis
inspite of the events our college doesn't compromise with academics of the students
faculties and higher authorities encourage to take part actively in extra curricular activities throughout the year

Dislikes

lack of practical knowledge is provided to have a kick start in companies
there is lower level of guidance and job encouragements and college is not able to decide upon the planned activities
no practical exposure to the fields related to our interest or specialization

Internships Opportunities:

our college provides no internship opportunities to students even though this is a compulsory criteria to be fulfilled in the 6th semester of our course under Bangalore University. I

The college in the clubs are very active and often we have more opportunities to network with our colleagues
The college campus is neat and well maintained
Good laboratories for better learning experiences.

Dislikes

Timings are strictly maintained and for parking vehicle pass is mandatory

Campus placements actually start from 6th semester most probably TCS, INFOSYS, AND MANY OTHER MNCS AND STARTUPS OFFERED AVG PACKAGES AROUND 5 OR MORE IN MY BRANCH CSE ALMOST 80 -90%STUDENTS ARE PLACED I'm planning to do my masters

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem we can be eligible for placement and there 3-4 companies which visited the college but I don't remember the name perfectly and as per the information got from seniors recently the highest package was 7-8LPA There is 40-50% of getting placement

Awesome college life

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good
They have big football ground where you can enjoy the sports
Nice library have the garden and has the church also

Dislikes

Have the lots of rules make you feel like you are in elementary school
Have to be in the campus before 8:30am after that you won't be allowed to enter the college
You can't leave the college before 3:45pm without gate pass and for gate pass you have to ask HOD

The campus and friends teachers behaviour and the food they provide canteen and allmost the t john College surfaces which means area and the parking facilities for vehicle and they were not allowed the phone
I love t john College because it's the best college i ever seen because they provide all facilities and provide books if required and lot of education we can learn and so much activities to do it it's very worth
The t john is the best college I have ever choose because they provide books if necessary in library and good quality and quantity foods in canteen and they provide so much committee and we can enjoy through the study

Dislikes

The t john College is good but the canteen has also good facilities but all are high rated foods they will not allow students to bring phone and for girls always need to wear shall and for boys formal dress everyday
Canteen food is high rated so it can't affordable for the students to eat food daily in the canteen modern dress wearing are not allowed and sometimes water machine was damage and they were always punish for the requirements which we have not done
I have experienced a lot I have seen so many departments in our college so comparing to every department nursing department is too strict if we taken leave also they will fine the students and the college was starts at 8: 30 am itself

Internships Opportunities:

They provide so many sponsores in so many countries like Australia Dubai etc and they provide around 90 percentage placement in each department it was a good experienced college and it's was very worth to choose this college
