Our college

Likes

Faculties are really good and experienced and supportive
Good climate and environment. Has a positive impact on health
Peaceful atmosphere to study thus calm and quiet environment

Dislikes

Less number of faculties in department and small department
Difficult to reach and hilly terrain paths are not appropriate

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides a one-year intership as every medical College does and the government provides a stipend of 25000 for the one-year internship. The students are sent to various other hospitals to acquire clinical knowledge.

Our medical college

Likes

Faculties are really good and approachable
Hilly terrain, thus it provides a good health
Cool and peaceful atmosphere it provides nice ambience to study

Dislikes

So many facilities are lacking here like lab
There are no facilities to develop arts club.
Less patients exposure for our training.

Internships Opportunities:

We are provided with one year internship. It is provided by every government medical college. We are provided with a stipened of 25000 for one year internship. The students are sent to various other hospitals to acquire clinical knowledge.

Goverment medical college idukki pros and cones

Likes

Faculties are very accountable and knowledgable
Hills are very high so no need of gym and we will be physically fit
Nice climate ad atmosphere as there is not hot climate

Dislikes

Every department has less facilties amd faculties
Hilly terrain so difficult to reach and less vehicle
Less population density so less patient population

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is one year course as that of every medical college and a stipend of 25000 is provided as that of government approved colleges and students are send to variety of other colleges for posting

Environment,friends,trees, relationship ..

Hostel, building, infrastructure,food,lack of teachers

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is provided by Kerala government and is not associated with any companies it is done for 1 year ,little salary is available,only few people are doing it properly ,not every people are correctly doing it

Likes

The sports facility here is good as by now students themselves made most of facilities
Enthusiastic students here to participate in all of extracurricular activities
All are good at academics and our college ranked 2nd in pass percentage in KUHS

Dislikes

College need some more facilities in parking
Administration is little bit uncoordinated

Internships Opportunities:

The government is directly giving the internship and stipend The course is 4.5 year + 1 year internship a total of 5.5 year The stipend is almost 30k rupees as by now and can increase in coming years The internship is done 365 days in all departments like medicine surgery pediatrics ent ophthal etc.

Il liked the atmosphere here, mainly the climate.
My batchmates here are nice andy friends made this college worth studying
There are many landscape spots which provide refreshments to my life

Dislikes

Many things here are over costly compared to my home
Auto drivers here are not very friendly to us
There are many hills which makes us to climb them.

Internships Opportunities:

After my 4th year the college itself provide 6 month internship and you will be paid for this time. Only after your internship you will be complete graduated from mbbs. After graduation you can go for higher via pg exams. Or you can get into any medical colleges based on seats
