This is a new government engineering college so there is less faculties but sufficient,one every year have 2 semester,in each sem have 2 mid semester paper have 10 marks each and viva also 5 marks in attendance

Faculty:

Faculties in GEC Palamu is best dedicated knowledgble and very friendly.. They are always available or approachable to students 24×7 there are dedicated 2 faculties to the respective subjects. In 6 months of semester duration there are 2 mid-sem exams taken by college individually and one final end sem exam taken by university which is registerd by college. Marking system in SGPA, both midsem exam of total 20 marks (10+ 10) & left 10 marks depends on attendance of students (75%) is mandatory, i.e- total of 30 marks given by college to university as an internal and 70 marks exam is taken by University.. i.e- total of 100 marks .. and SGPA is given to students according to their academic performance, there is very less students fail ratio (<3%) due to the structured course curriculum which leads to be students stress free for academics

Faculty:

These year many new faculties are entered in our college and yeah they are supportive. About my best faculty so sorry since currently we are giving our end second semester paper so we didn't get a chance to meet with them in class so I can't say it now . But some of faculty are still here from starting whom I personally don't like because of there narrow mindset But as students are increasing in our college so that teachers are negligible ???????? About exams: Basically in each semester we have to give 2 mid term and an end term , if u start study just before 5days of exm trust me u'll good Sgpa.
