Placements and job opportunities are very good. 70% of the students get placed after UG, remaining opt for higher studies, Govt. Exams. The placement process is based on the CGPA and personal interview. The average CTC is Rs.3,60,000 and the highest CTC is Rs.4,80,000. Dr.Sylendra Babu IPS, Iraianbhu IAS, Ram Sundar IFS are our notable alumni. And most of the alumni are placed in Agri-input sector companies and FMCG companies. Also some of them have started their own ventures.

Early from starting of my final year of course several companies and banking sectors made a recruitment drive. There is a separate department for placement cell functioned in my college. Many private agro companies offered tentative package of around 10000-30000 for freshers during their recruitment drive. Around 30 to 50 students out of 80 students were placed every year from my campus.

The placement and job opportunities in this field are enormous especially in research. The job opportunities are present in both government and private sectors with high salary packages. Internships are provided with ICAR stipend.
