The college provides numerous opportunities related to agriculture, including job training and internships, although direct campus placements are limited. Job opportunities exist in both government and private sectors, with significant roles in seed and fertilizer companies, and government jobs available in each state for BSc Agriculture graduates. The Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) program offers a stipend of around 8,000 INR and is structured with 16 modules to enhance practical skills.
Students can earn between 5,500 to 20,000 INR for internships, with some receiving up to 40,000 INR upon completion of the RAWE program. Notably, agricultural companies offer the highest annual package of 6-7 lakh INR. Internship opportunities are available in collaboration with companies like Xcellogen Biotech India, Unibiosys Biotech Research, and Klonos Biotech. International and central institutions such as CIMMYT, ICRISAT, and IRRI also provide internship opportunities. The college also collaborates with IIT Bombay's E-cell for technology field placements.
PhD and post-graduation programs are offered, with support for exams like JRF, ICAR PG, and ARS.
