i like availability of nice infrastructure amid the beautiful valley of shimla and also practical knowledge as heavy flow of patients is there.
a lot of patients are there thats why easy for students to access things
faculty is also nice they are doctors so learning from their experience come in handy

Dislikes

cafeteria needs to improve as there is no availability of variety in food
some people tend to take upper hands because of authority
due to large batch size some students tend to be hidden among masses

course curriculum is relevant and necessary. sometimes the professors who are basically doctors and not teachers tend to burden some students with lack of understanding and teaching which is difficult but is manageable

Balance, gender ratio with higher number of girls, the environment is secure for all the reason and it is also very friendly
The sex ratio of girls to boys is 3.3 :1 He in my class there is about 13-14 guys And 46 to 47 girls
There are many events happening in our college, which encouraged the student to find their inner talent

Dislikes

I think we need to improve in my college is the resources. It has limited resources for many reasons. It should work on it.
There is a huge disparity in participation in extracurricular activity in college girls in college are more active in this, and I think it should be changed by equaling the number of participation
Though it is nice vibe in general, but it somehow can lead to some bad circles too

This BDS course is very good course it gives you that doctor tag with you and you feel responsible also the for the future is also good and it is super if your parents have pre-owned clinic because it will grow only the end

College library is good that what i can say
Teachers are good well cooperative and understanding
College staff is also good and cooprating

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not good that is very dissapointing
It is in rural place so patients opd not good
Hygiene is not good toilets are very dirty

Curriculum of college is good there is not at all requirement of improvement i think college curriculum is so so good teaching methods are not affected by curriculum if i think so so curriculuk is good

My Dental College

Likes

The New technology in our college. Also Basics Are there.
Most Beautiful thing is the location of the college.
Infrastructure of the collge is so nice & Amazing.

Dislikes

Nothing To Dislike. But i will say most of the Teachers prefers to teach pnly pg students
everything is good but, They didn't give us stipend.
some of the teachers are self centred and Careless about students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

teaching methods including smart classes Demonstrations Are given Before doing pre clinical And Clinical Works. Time to time Test are Taken by the Faculty members . Daily Viva Given by the students before doing the patients.

I took admission in this college back in 2019 and its been 4.5 years now in this college.So firstly let me tell you that there are two types of seats in this college.One is govt and other one is private seat.So overall this is a semi govt college and
based upon your neet scores you get your seat accordingly.Tution fee for govt seat back in 2019 was 90k and for private it was round about 3.5 lacs per annum.But as per current scenario fees has been raised to nearly 1.5 lakhs per annum for govt and
nearly about 4.5 lacs per annum for private.Also hostel fees back in 2019 was 45k and now it also has been raised to nearly 1 lakh per annum.Apart from this you have to pay mess and laundary charges in case you have opted for hostel which would cost

environment here is to peaceful.Area is safe as per safety concerns and there are a lot of places to visit around.College faculty is very good and when it comes about
academics it is the best college in himachal pradesh. Plus point of opting this college is the OPD here.After GDC shimla this college is famous for its high OPD and you will be seeing a lot of patients in OPD which gives a great opportunity to
students when it comes about practice.College is famous for the latest technology machines ,it holds.It is the only college in north India which is having a CBCT machine.All these things provide a great exposure to students here.Atmosphere here is

When I was in first-second year i literally had no interest in BDS.But when I came in 3rd year tables turned.Once you get clinical exposure ,u are gonna like the course. General surgery and medicine's classes are taken in govt hospital.So together these department postings as well as postings in hospital take your interest to the field.

Awesome experience

Admission:

First of all take a admission form and full fill. And compulsory forms photostate for example 10th, +2, aadhar card, marit photostate etc. and the guardian photos etc. take by staff. And this one is process at last deposit the fees in the college.

Glad to have taken admission in this college

Remarks:

Positive facilities of our college includes the availability of well design infrastructure of the college building. The building includes badminton court, equipment for cricket, table tennis, volleyball and many other indoor games. The students are provided with various facilities like ragging cell, complaints of caste discrimination cell. There are also library, seminar hall which makes our college the overall best college of Himachal.
