BSM Law College, Roorkee was established in 2001. The college is the first independent Law College of northern India. The aim of the college is to providing quality education in law and to create lawyers who are well versed in national and trans-national legal systems. The college has earned an enviable status as one of the premier law colleges in the country owing to its academic quality, promotion of multi dimensional legal education and multi disciplinary enquiry into legal problems. B.S.M. Law College in Roorkee does not mention offering the National Cadet Corps (NCC) as part of its extracurricular activities. However, the college provides a range of other student activities, including moot court sessions and various facilities such as a computer lab, library, and hostel services
