food is good, boys:girls ratio is almost 1:1, freedom for students is high, student life is great, nurtures academic oriented minds
hostels are great, campus infra is amazing, teachers are excellent

a little overcrowded, the food can get very repetitive over time

Amazing hostels. 3 sharing with private bathroom. separated boys and girls dorms. meals are great but over time can get boring but the mess building also has a food court with dominos and subway etc. affordability wise is a little more expensive than most other colleges but the facilities provided is great. no option to live off-campus so this is alright. AC rooms also so very comfortable.

No option to reside outside campus - the option to mandatorily stay inside campus and pay the exorbitant hostel fees feels like an imposition.

Hostel Facilities:

There are different types of rooms, given batchwise. The standard room has 3 students with 3 beds, 3 side tables, 3 study tables, 3 cupboards over study tables, 3 clothes wardrobe. The washroom is divided into 3 stalls, one with commode, one with bathing area and one with sink and cabinets. Other room settings for boys include apartment type setting, with 4 rooms in one apartment, and 2 boys in one room. One more room setting for boys include 2 boys in one room. One more setting for Post Graduate girls include 4 girls in one room. Meal Quality and Menu is exceptional- offering over 20+ different items every meal with different cuisines - Indian, South Indian, Desserts, Italian, Chinese, Salads etc. Registration process for hostel comes along with admission process, nothing to be done separately. Living in hostel is mandatory and living outside campus is not permitted.

MY THOUGHTS ON JINDAL GLOBAL UNI

The mess food has a lot of variety, is tasty, hygienic, Not repetitive, And you won't have to visit food courts regularly because the mess would be enough.

Dislikes

Food court food is quite expensive. And not worth the money.
We have to book the ticket to get our rooms cleaned/mopped. It'd have been better if it was automatically done.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facility is quite good. We can get 120 clothes cleaned in 30 days. The mess food is pretty good as well. Renting a room or pg isn't possible since it's a residential campus. Registration process is simple and user friendly.

Our rooms are quite maintained well with active air conditioning , being a 3 sharing room. Connected bathroom. Meals in the mess here is diverse ranging from Oriental to Continental to Indian. Hostel fee is indeed on the higher side

It is better than 90% of the college hostels in India so is its fees. Meal quality is good. The college provides the hostel and the college has a policy of compulsory residential. Although its not very affordable as the fees is 1.46 lakhs for each semester.

Hostel Facilities:

Presently, JGLS has 15 hostel blocks and over 10,000 students reside in these hostels. There are various types of hostels like two sharing, three sharing, four sharing. The room is well equipped with students needs like AC, study tables, adequate spacing, hygienic washroom, 24/7 electricity, water etc. The hostel staff is also trained to acquire and manage students needs of such a large number. The meals are offered 4 times a day, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.

I reside in a hostel in the college campus itself we had to share our rooms with others I made a lot of friends this way there are PGS around the college which also give rooms for students appear on 25004 the hostel the food is very good here.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel accommodation is quite spacious and accessible. Our rooms have AC, wifi, bed, studying table and other things. Mess food is very hygienic and good. We have variety of dishes in mess for comfort of students belonging to all regions

the hostels are the best you could find in the country with ac in all rooms all year round and they also provide heaters in winters with good mattresses and a washroom for each individual room. the best in the country.
