S.K.J. Law College Muzaffarpur Faculties : Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 13 Reviews

The faculty at S.K.J Law College is highly experienced, supportive, and plays a crucial role in shaping law students. The college has a faculty-to-student ratio ranging between 1:40 to 1:50, depending on the course and year. Most faculty members are approachable and dedicated to helping students understand legal concepts and apply them in practical scenarios. The professors of jurisprudence and sociology are particularly praised for their expertise and helpfulness. However, there are mixed reviews about the economics and political science faculty, with some students expressing dissatisfaction.

The college conducts one primary annual exam, with a high pass rate, as most students are promoted to the next year, though a small number, about 20-30 out of 300, may not pass. The faculty's commitment to teaching and moral support is a significant asset to the institution.

Faculty to student ratio is almost 20 - 25 students/ Professor and that is the plus point for the students since it helps to understand the concept well with less effort and in less time. I like Bhushan sir the most, Because he teaches so well that i understand each and every concept in much better way. He teaches us economics in both hindi and english language & it is the plus point for me because i got all the concepts well. He gives the example of every concept from our day to day life & I like this concept most because it helps me to grab it easily. ThankYou sir for all I have got from You. In my opinion all subject's teacher is good expect english. For every semester there is one exam. Almost all the students passes with good numbers.

One class have two sections, in my class there is almost 240 students so it's 120 students per one teacher. Most of the faculties in starting year aren't really that good in teaching but most of them are friendly and can be approached easily. Polity teachers are quite better than other facilities, and one of them is Sunil sir. Well economics faculty isn't really good, he really doesn't know how to teach and on top of that have huge ego, most of the time instead of teaching he targets students for no good reason. In 1st and 2nd year their is only one main exam excluding few monthly test and it is not really that hard, if one studies their subjects properly, he can get good marks. No non of the students fail to clear exam. Well I believe even in 1st and 2nd year, there should be some law related subjects to strengthen student's basic because all we study is arts subject which is banifical in long run but it doesn't strengthen student's basic law knowledge.
