Students must have scored a minimum of 50% in 10+2 to be eligible for BA Psychology Admission 2025. Below are some of the procedures to be followed for BA Psychology admissions.

  • Visit the official portal of the institution to submit an application for admission.
  • After that, complete the application form, attach the relevant documents, and pay the application fee before submitting it.
  • If necessary, appear in the admission exam. CUET for BA Psychology requires students to appear for 4 papers- 1 language from list A + 2 subjects from list B1 + 1 subject either from list B1 or from list B2. For the lists students can refer to the CUET website.

Ans. It's understandable that you may be considering a change in your field of study, especially as a 2nd-year student. To determine if psychology is the right fit for you, first, you should do some research and gain a better understanding of the field. While many people consider this field as cool and interesting, the reality is far from this.  Psychology is a difficult field unless you are genuinely interested in it and are certain about pursuing a career in it. A career is a long-term shot and you should be determined to go for a PhD from a top institute. Many times people are attracted to a certain field only to find later that they just wanted a way out of engineering. It's very necessary to do a self-analysis. Also, I would like to clear the misconception that you don't have to get your bachelors in the same field as your master's. Unless you are planning to get a master's or doctorate, a bachelor's in psychology is not an easy degree to find a comfortable living after graduating. You can just take a minor in psychology in order to meet the eligibility criteria to enter many graduate school programs. But, if you want to pursue a research-based Ph.D. program you will likely need to get actual research experience, which may be harder if you only did a minor. Additionally, you can read up on the latest research and articles in psychology, and explore different subfields of psychology, such as clinical, developmental, social, and cognitive psychology. It's important to remember that changing majors can be a big decision, and it may take some time to determine if psychology is right for you.Read more

Ans. Truly speaking I did my research and applied to this college as thier were amazing psychology and journalism faculty in the department but they eventually left after the 1st semester. I have just applied at Presidency and I got the seat. So, you can apply on the college portal for a interview round if you clear the criteria of 75% and above. Less than that you have to apply from management quota. A basic round of interview will take place regarding a background & document verification during the interview. Ans. The fees varies according to if you are eligibility of your scholarship. The entire fee ranges during my session was 2 Lakhs (90k first year and 55k respectively) but because I was eligible for the scholarship I paid 1.8 Lakhs (70k first year and 55k respectively). The eligibility for scholarship is - defence ward, sports quota or meritorious students. Every year the fees increases by 10k. They avail scholarship for SC/ST students but it's a rigorous process to follow.Read more

Ans. I joined the batch knowing the fact that it is under Bangalore University but when we attended the first day of our batch. It was declared that we were autonomous batch. We remained the lab rats to experiment. I felt there were too many unnecessary subject which were introduced as extra paper and what you study in college is very different from what is required in the job market. The exams were held on regular basis. First they should focus on getting a stable faculties. The curriculum and guest lecture should be based on real demands of the job rather than just getting too many guest lecturers.Read more
