The AEEE 2026 Phase 2 registration has been extended from 15 to 18 April 2026 at aeee.amrita.edu.in. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form till April 18, 2026. Candidates who will be able to complete the registration and make payment before the AEEE 2026 application deadline can appear for the phase 2 exam in April.

  • The AEEE 2026 will be conducted by Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham in two phases.

What is AEEE 2026?

The AEEE 2026 exam is conducted for admission across 8 campuses offering 19 B.Tech programmes in the country. Some of the important courses at Amrita University campuses include UG, PG, and PhD. programmes in Engineering.

  • For admission in Engineering programmes, candidates must either appear for AEEE 2026 or the JEE Main 2026 exam.
  • Out of two sessions conducted every year, the best JEE Main percentile secured by the candidate (released before Amrita University seat allotment) will be considered for preparing the AEEE merit list.
  • Candidates who are appearing for the Class 12th Boards exam in March/April (2026) can also apply for the AEEE 2026 phase 2 exams.
  • To be eligible for the AEEE 2026 exam, candidates must fulfil the age criteria, that is, born on or after 1st July 2005.

Ans: There are no restrictions for attempting AEEE multiple times. Students can also join Amrita University without appearing for AEEE 2026. The admission in such a case will be done through JEE Main marks.

Ques: Will the AEEE 2026 exam follow the NCERT syllabus?

Ans: Yes, the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination or AEEE 2026 will strictly follow the NCERT syllabus for all major subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). Try to complete the NCERT Class 11th and 12th books first and then move to other reference books or materials.

Ques: How much is the registration fee for AEEE 2026?

Ans: The registration fees for AEEE 2026 are similar to last year. If you are applying through only AEEE 2026 or AEEE 2026 + JEE 2026, then the fees to be paid will be INR 1300. However, candidates applying with their JEE Main 2026 only have to pay INR 500.

AEEE 2026 Admit Card

With the completion of the AEEE 2026 phase 2 registration on 15 April 2026, the conducting body will release the admit card on its official website.

  • Candidates can download their AEEE 2026 admit card by logging in to the AEEE home page with their registered email ID and password.
  • Before downloading the hall ticket, candidates are required to verify their AADHAR card.

Amrita University conducts the AEEE exam in two phases every year. It is completely optional for students to appear in both phases.
