40 % and 60% route admission requirements for AISSEE 2025:

There are two routes through which a candidate can apply for Sainik schools 40% and 60%. To apply for new Sainik schools under the 40% route following eligibility criteria must be satisfied by a student:

• A student should be between the ages of 10 to 12 years as of March 2025 and should be born between April 1, 2012, to March 31, 2025.

To apply under the 60% route, a student needs to satisfy the following eligibility criteria for admission to Sainik schools:

• A student must be under the age of 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2025, for admission in class 6th and should have been born between April 1, 2012, to March 31, 2014.
• A student should have passed class 5th as of March 31, 2025.

AISSEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Girls

The procedure of examination for girls is the same as for boys, both need to apply for AISSEE 2025 and must be Indian citizens. girls are only eligible to take admission in class 6th. Girls also need to appear for the written exam followed by the medical test and personal interview to determine AISSEE score. It is also mandatory to satisfy the age limit before applying for the examination.

Eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by students after AISSEE 2025 Result

After declaring the AISSEE 2025 result, the school starts with the further process of admission and medical examination of the student. The school intends to release the merit list based on student’s scores and marks obtained by them.

Following is the list of students who are eligible for selection after attaining the minimum score required, please keep the following in mind:

• If there are two or more students who have secured the same marks, then the student with more marks in math will be considered. so, math is an important subject to pay attention to as it determines selection.
• Even after this, if the tie-in marks continue then English and intelligence test marks will be taken into consideration.
• Then the general test is taken into consideration, but if the marks still remain similar then the student who is younger in age is selected for the seat.

AISSEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria: News

There are a total of 51 Sainik school campuses located in different states which have been opened by the Ministry of Education since 1961 with an aim to prepare students physically and mentally ready to enroll for INA or NDA. Previously only boys were eligible to apply for AISSEE but in 2020 our respected prime minister declared that girls are also eligible to be admitted in Sainik schools for class 6 only. AISSEE Admission is done through the process of e-counseling based on the marks obtained by the student through the AISSEE Examination Under the NTA. AISSEE is administered offline for up to three hours, in which a student needs to mark their answer on an OMR sheet, followed by a written examination, a medical examination, and a personal interview.

AISSEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Important Points to Remember

Only students who satisfy the following eligibility criteria mentioned by AISSEE are eligible to proceed with further application procedures. Only Indian students will be eligible for the AISSEE 2025. Students from outside the country are not eligible and students who are found ineligible at any step of the application will not be able to proceed further and will be removed from the AISSEE and there is no refund for the fees which are paid at the time of filling the application either.
