BEET 2026 is the state-level entrance exam for admission to B.Ed. colleges affiliated with Patna University in Bihar. The exam will test subject knowledge, general awareness, reasoning, and teaching aptitude, and is expected to use the same offline, OMR-based format as the previous year.
The notification is expected to come out in the first quarter of 2026, and the test is expected to take place in the last week of May for the 2026 cycle, as was done in the previous years.
- Last year, over 1.3 lakh students in Bihar appeared for the B.Ed. entrance exam for an opportunity to approximately 37,500 seats in government-run and private training institutes.
- Eligibility for BEET 2026 will stay around 50% marks in graduation (45% for reserved categories), with no upper age limit for applicants.
- The BEET 2026 syllabus is expected to focus on General Awareness, Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and Language Proficiency.
- Your rank is likely to matter more than simply meeting the cutoff, as from last year, the qualifying percentage was higher than 95%.
With competition getting bigger each year and admission heavily based on your rank, BEET 2026 starts to matter even more if you want a B.Ed seat in a good college.
