JAC Chandigarh 2026 – Section-Wise Weightage
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh handles admissions for B.Tech, B.Arch, and the Integrated B.E. (Chemical)-MBA programs based on candidates’ JEE Main scores. There’s no separate entrance exam for JAC Chandigarh; all admissions are done through a centralized counselling process.
The JEE Main 2026 exam includes three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with 25 questions in each, making a total of 75 questions. The marking scheme awards +4 marks for each correct answer and deducts 1 mark for wrong answers in multiple-choice questions. There’s no negative marking for numerical value questions. The exam carries a total of 300 marks.
