What Students Say
Likes
- I choosed the College due to it's Location (Munich) and also it's reputaion in Bayern. It has small classroom with 15 students each, you get lots of exposure to new learnings and developing the skills
- Class room experience, Project with a company- In a 2nd Semester you have a opportunity to do a project with a company to build a strategy or any project which company want you to work in a group. It's great opportunity to get a pratical experience.
Dislikes
- Support for students for searching Internship or Jobs, there is very less support you would get from the faculty present, there are some comapny visits but most of the visits or events which happen at MBS, the open positions at that specific comapny needs German.
You can gain lots of knowledge from the Industry wide Professors at MBS, one of the biggest advantage is that the small number of class, which makes interaction to be active always and professor have time to listen to you.
Course Curriculum
Course is well structured and well planned with you getting great exposure of different courses such as Finance, Marketing, Innovation etc. Each week you have to do a presentation in front of class, which helps to build your confidence and also learn skills.
Faculty
Most of faculty comes from the Industry who have worked in Companies such as BMW, EY, Family Owned Business etc, which gives a student exposure to pratical knowledge from the faculties.
Campus Life
Campus is somewhat of disappointing as it not a big campus, it's 3 floors of the building as shown on Google, less option to studies- very small library, less online resources for Research for Thesis, No Job recruiting through campus.
Placement
It's difficult without German Language, there are many opportunities but mostly all of them need German, so the first focus should be on German langauge other than finishing the studies, if you have till B2 level of German langauge then you have higher chances for anything you are looking for.
Accommodation
Accomodation is biggest worry in Munich, it's difficult to find one specially during the month of September, as mostly all universities start there course during same time, very less supoort from the university for accomodation, if they provide support too, it's out of budget
Exams
When I enrolled there was no requirement of GMAT or GRE and also TOEFL and IELTS was needed, but currently due to ATS procedure you are needed to do IELTS.. I have to submit 2 LoRs, SoP and CV. My CV was 2 page with all the past experiences such as education, Internships and Co-curricular activities. German Universities gives lots of attention to what you have done beyond your education, show all the NGO work you have done in CV and SOPs, what was your motivation to join it and somehow link it to course or coming to Germany. I had 2 Interviews, one with the Dean of the University and other with the faculty of the course
