College Review- Good

I applied to 4 different colleges during the time of Summer semester in 2020. I got confirmed admission from TH Deggendorf. All the other university has sent me rejection for the different courses. I got rejected from TH Schmalkalden, TU Münich, OTH Regensburg, and TU Duisburg I think my grades were not sufficient to get admission in most of the uni or I was really behind in the application timings. Some university was having issues with my English language proficiency. I was also planning to change the uni, but this Deggendorf has really good subjects and a course structure. I saw the uni, and I met professors who gave me motivation and helped me move forward with this course. I had to apply via the official online portal of THD, and the main thing was that it did not require any application fees. Once I applied, I got a confirmation email from uni and once the timeline finished for the application, I got ean mail for confirmed admission from the university. It also provided more details to get into the uni. e.g., payment of fees and other related documents. The eligibility criteria were German A2, IELTS minimum 5.5 bands, and the cutoff was around 2.6 grades. The overall admission experience was easy and minimum time consuming and easy to understand. I applied to 5 colleges: Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt Deggendorf Institute of Technology rwth aachen university Saarland University (TUHH) Technische Universität Hamburg Heidelberg university I got accepted into all of them because I had a nice academic background and a good international schooling record, plus a powerful extracurricular. Firstly, when I applied, they took 2 months to accept me. After accepting me, I got my admission letter, and then i had to upload all these documents for my enrolment. Overall the admission process for my college was fairly simple; they had a page where I had to submit all my documents in a span of 2 months, and they had written what all documents I needed. Some here require completion of an APS certificate, IELTS, a bonafide from a previous college, and completion of the 1st year in your Indian college without failing any subject. I Applied for 4 colleges, received admission to Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Technische Hochschule Deggendorf) University of Passau - Master of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Status: Rejected due to less credits in AI and related subjects during bachelor's degree University of Lübeck - Master of Science in IT Security Status: Rejected due to less credits in certain subjects during the bachelor's degree FAU Erlangen - Master of Science in Data Science Status: Rejected due to lesser credits in Data Science and related subjects during bachelor's degree Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Technische Hochschule Deggendorf) - Master of Science in Applied Computer Science Status: Accepted after passing admission test The course that I chose in this college was very interesting because it had subjects from the embedded systems field as well, which I feel suits the German market more and would give me good exposure to the embedded software development field as well. Admission process: First I had to apply online and submit the documents online itself in their portal and my consultancy, Yes Germany, helped me to do so. After that I had to give an online proctored exam, and I was accepted after the results of the exams were announced. Eligibility criteria were to meet the minimum credit requirement (180 ECTS or 210 ECTS) and to have an IELTS score of 6.5, after which you would be invited to an admission test and after clearing that is when you'll be given the admission. Overall, the only challenging task is to clear the admission test, which was moderately tough; not very tough. a good 2 or 3 weeks of revision of the concepts studied in the bachelor's and taking the mock test, given by DIT themselves, will help a lot. I applied to the summer intake, as I graduated with my bachelor's degree in the month of June, 2024 and was preparing for IELTS and was gathering other documents. I chose this college because of it's modern course curriculum, they provide variety of options to specialize and build career, easy to switch lines after bachelor via this course. The university is situated in ourskirts of the area and reaching there is a crucial task as public transport is only once in an hour. But you can have your private vehicle or cycle and get there easily because the whole area is small. The classes and the resources provided are very good and case studies help us get to know into subjects really good. The professors are really helpful and understanding and they help us in any way possible. All the students are extremely friendly and into activities and fun.
