The CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2026 are currently being conducted smoothly across the country, and several major subject exams have already been completed. Important papers such as Physical Education, Physics, and Accountancy have taken place, while subjects like English, Mathematics, Home Science, and Biology are yet to be held.

  • According to students, the overall difficulty level of the exams so far has been moderate, with most questions directly based on the NCERT syllabus and focused more on testing conceptual clarity rather than memorisation.
  • Among the exams conducted so far, Physics has been considered the toughest by many students because of lengthy numericals and application-based questions, although teachers and experts described the paper as balanced.
  • The Physical Education exam was easy and highly scoring, helping students start the exam season with confidence. The Accountancy paper was moderate in difficulty but lengthy, as calculation-based questions required good speed and accuracy.

Overall, experts have observed that this year’s papers emphasise competency-based and concept-oriented questions, making the exams fair but slightly more challenging for average students.
