Since it's mainly an arts college, computer science is the sole science course available, which has its drawbacks. Make sure to explore all your options for computer science before deciding. The faculty is quite good, though.

One downside is the lack of food outlets right next to the college. Even though Hudson Lane is about a 15-minute walk, it can feel too far when you're exhausted.

Professors, like those in other DU colleges, don't mind what you do outside class. Smoking isn't allowed, but you can dress however you want. Just keep your attendance above 40%. You don't have to greet professors like in school either.

There's no strict language rule. Many teachers will explain things again in Hindi if needed. For BA courses, you only have two exams per paper each semester, no regular tests or homework, though you might be asked to read up on a topic.

Classrooms can be crowded. My BA Political Science class has 65 students, and sometimes latecomers have to find chairs elsewhere. But there's a new building with more spacious rooms now.

Most teachers are okay with you being 10-15 minutes late, although some are stricter. There are no ACs, only fans. The library is a cool spot with AC, three floors, a lift, and an online system to find books. There's also an ICT lab with internet.

The lawns are nice for sitting and sunbathing, but you can't sit on the front lawns. You might even see some peacocks. There's a recharge store and a Canara Bank ATM on campus.
